So, can anyone find the cat?

I think it is relevant. I think there are absolutely situations where it's okay for a woman to be hit, whether that's by a man or a woman, and that was one of them. Especially after she attacked the little boy. There is a difference between a hit and a beating though. I'm not suggesting it's okay for someone to just go up and pound on her. A Ray Rice hit though? Absolutely no problem with it in that instance. Nobody would think twice about it if that person was a male, and that's a ridiculous standard. What did walking away do for that girl? It got her attacked again, and her little brother too. Walking away is a nice and lovely thought, but when someone runs after you and continues something, it's not a realistic option.

Again, TWO DIFFERENT scenarios. You are saying what did another girl and her toddler brother accomplish by walking away. That isn't the case here. Please people. that girl could fight back if she wanted to. We are talking about a grown man who has a foot and 100 lbs on a woman. He could walk out of the apartment and that woman isn't going to run after him and beat him down. Please stop making excuses. Your incident and this one are not alike and just cover the real problem. I'm sorry but I find it comical and just FOS when men start finding excuses of when they can hit women. That is not right. Twist it all you want....its wrong. Twisting scenarios to figure out..."could I clock a girl here" is just mind-boggling. And before people start saying I'm on a high horse...I've been in the situation before and my actions spoke volumes and difused vs. made it worse for everyone.

Not all women are like that....

Some like to...."push". Just to see if they get a reaction.
Some are immature.
Some are coked up.
Some are after something else all together...and wants him to hit her...

Story after story after story I hear from my male friends. and it seems to be getting worse. It doesn't get any air time on GMA though. People don't really talk about it all that much on the Brainwashing machine.

The court system has become extremely one sided. Women have figured this out. And some, not all, but a growing number of women, are using this environment for financial gain and other beneficial outcomes. Not only in abuse cases, but in divorce, and child support and all kinds of other things.

A lot of men don't want to get married anymore. Its too big of a risk. lol. I'm over exaggerating a little. but really. That sentiment is growing in this country.....

Did anyone hear 105.3 the Fans take on this today at lunch?
Too much to type but the basics:
If there is sufficient evidence the state can prosecute without accuser testimony

Most of the time the accuser and the accused are both trying to smear the other which makes for shaky info

Lawyers are aware that a strong case can be made without the accusers testimony and it is common practice to proceed w trial of accuser isn't present

The fact that they chose not to pursue Hardy suggests that there wasn't enough evidence to build a strong case

It was well known that the accusers story changed so much that there was a very high chance that her testimony could've hurt the prosecutions case.

Yet here we see local media acting as if it's a foregone conclusion that Hardy is a monster that brutalized an innocent woman.

So much more to this story, and when it's all said and done I'm thrilled that we got Hardy for a year on the cheap. It's KRAKEN time!!!!

If he does absolutely nothing but "walk away" I don't care if he has 200 lbs on her, she absolutely can hurt him if she wanted to.

You were in A situation, not THE situation. They all aren't going to go down like they did for you. That's great that walking away was an option for you, but if you really believe that is always going to be the case for someone, then I definitely say that is naive. There are absolutely women out there that will chase after and attack a man that walks away.

It seems that those against Hardy are much more emotional about it.

I don't know if that comes from personal biases or not.

But Hardy has no previous history with violent encounters. I really think that this was just another bad break-up that got elevated past a point that neither party ever wanted to go.

Warnings have been given enough. There will be no more warnings.

why, i outta . . . make him say a novena and doo community service . . . I for one am outradged theranchsucks half gone beyond the bounds of decorum!!!!

I'm sure there are women that will. I'm not doubting the craziness of females in certain situations....at all. But unless she is brandishing a knife or gun, I'm walking, getting in my car and gone. She can destroy the apartment but its better than me being in jail. In this situation that is what I'm saying. Hell, if you don't want to leave the apartment and she is coming at you like that, shut the bedroom door, lock it and call 911. There are many options besides hitting and/or tossing someone. JMO/.
