Further, I deal in facts. Dak is due a $5MM roster bonus on the 5th day of the 2024 league year (sometime in early to mid March). There is no chance the Cowboys would willingly pay him $5MM more dollars to then want to cut him later.

Tell Dak his offer is what he is worth. Offer him $20M-25M per with a promise of a new deal if he actually wins in the playoffs and takes the Cowboys on a deep run.

This is what needs to be done. 3 choices. Trade him, offer him his true worth^^^^^^, or just let him play on that massive salary for one season and then move on.

Unfortunately, prolly true. I expect Dak to get extended at over 50 mil/season. And then we'll sign a CB to a 30 mil/season deal. So we can continue to win 12 games and lose in the 1st round.
