Really. Portis has been gone how many games? And its clear that Betts can do almost as well. And he does not get injured.

Betts has gotten injured all of the 4 seasons hes been with the Skins. Clinton Portis is the fastest to reach the 6000 rushing yard mark out of ANY RB ever. He got injured on a freak play, big deal. Without injuries he ranks right behind Larry Johnson and Ladanian Tomlinson.

btw Betts is a product of our offensive line. Hes a fumble machine and has no breakaway speed. He's good at hitting the whole and thats pretty much it. Anyone can run through the holes the Skins offensive line has opened.

Point is that Betts is getting the job done now about as well as Portis would have been. And makes a lot less noise and distraction.

Betts is a horrible goalline back and a poor blocker. He also fumbles at the worst imaginable times and has had this problem for a LONG time. When Clinton Portis came back against Houston and Jacksonville he absolutely destroyed both teams but sadly re injured himself the next game on the same shoulder.

Betts is a poor mans Brian Westbrook and he quickly resigned with Washington again because he knows hes a product of our offensive line.

Not at all. Portis carried us into the playoffs. We did not miss Champ a bit after he left besides this season. Champ was pretty bad for the Broncos his first season and average last season.

Clinton Portis/Champ Bailey trade worked perfectly for both teams. The trade that really messed everything up was the third round pick for Mark Brunell or the third round pick for TJ Duckett.
Man, this is head in the sand thinking. No offense meant, but no way.

He's doing as good as any QB did in his first seven starts. Look up Carson Palmer, Donvon McNabb, Peyton Manning etc and their first year starting was as good or even worse than Jasons. Manning and Palmer struggled with turnovers and Jason didn't but they didn't struggle with accuracy like Jason. McNabb struggled with everything but as the seasons went on he got better and better.

QB's who get the oppurtunity to start in their first 2 seasons don't really put crazy numbers in every statistical categories.

All of this doesn't really matter because in the end the Skins defense will do everything possible to lose the game.

atleast Eli is a bust.
That stuff is all fair enough. I just don't like his motion and release. They're clunky and gawky, the kind of stuff that screams "inaccurate". So when he misses passes, it makes me suspect he may have permanent problems. I don't expect you or anybody necessarily to agree. It's just my initial, biased impression.

Admittedly, I've spent a great deal of time focusing on other life sustaining skills such as ensuring my weapons were in mint condition, from windage sites down to the firing pin retaining pin, bolt cam pin, and barrels. I've listened to static-filled devices trying to pick up information from games in rain based, muddy, dirty stinking machine gun bunkers, staying warm in knowing that future NFL fans can ask me questions just like you just did.

Wow, you would think that somewhere along the line you would have picked up on the fact that there are only two wild card teams per conference. Therefore there can be a maximum of three playoff teams per division.

BTW, thanks for whipping those Johnny Rebs, or was it the Kaiser's boys? Either way, good job!
