Except that in this case winning a bad division gets you into the playoffs. Which is the goal to get into the playoffs so that you've got a shot at a championship. No one cares, come playoff time, what division was great or not. People win in the NFL even when they play in a piss poor division.


That 38-0 blasting of the Giants on Sunday is one of the funniest things I've seen from this division in a long time. I couldn't help but smile about that. Of course the Eagles and Skins losing never hurts my feelings. :)

This weeks game has the potential to be a very ugly game for the Eagles. If they start turning the ball over Peyton and the Broncos are going to wind up putting 50 on them.
 
BHF - I don't expect the Eagles to beat the Broncos - unless they snooze through this game - and the chances of that happening are pretty slim.

Idk. That whommping the eagles gave the Commanders 2 years ago was really funny. I think the score was like 62-14 or something.

Those were both very entertaining to be sure. :)

But seeing the Giants so helpless that they're blased 38-0 is just so fun.

Today we will see if the Eagles can, at least, keep it close against the Broncos.
We will see if Dallas wins in San Diego.
We will see if the Giants can win in Kansas City.
We will see if the Commanders can win in Oakland.
 
If the Eagles beat the winless Giants on Sunday and the Cowboys lose to Denver, the Eagles will be tied for first place in this division.
On paper, the Eagles schedule does get easier. Now they have to start playing better.

The winner of the Commanders-Cowboys game in 2 weeks could lead the division with a losing record...
 
Sonny - The Eagles COULD be 3-3 if they beat the Giants and the Bucs.

Shunpike - From here on out the Eagles have a pretty easy schedule - but are they good enough to take advantage of that to win 9 or 10 games?

Besides, there is no way any of the teams this year in the NFC east are winning more than 9 games.
