As it is now, the NFL season means nothing. A 13 win team can't get a home playoff game. Whats the point of playing hard all year if it means nothing.

You can't change it.

Divisions and schedules aren't equal.

Dallas didn't even play 18 different NFL teams this year. Everybody plays entirely different schedules outside their division.

There has to be this structure.

This doesn't happen often, people need to quit crying about it. Sean Payton on the post game show said since 1970 only 6 teams have won the division with a .500 or below record, and they're 4-2 in the first playoff game.

he should know all about it. HIs 11-5 saints got whipped in Seattle and lost to the 7-9 seahawks.

New England used to get 6 free wins a year when the Bills, Jets and Dolphins were all 4-win teams.

Meanwhile, the Steelers, Ravens, and Bengals were killing each other in their division.

It has to be this way to work season to season.

i don't think it's about the OTs ... it's about coaches .. ala Kellen Moore.

we were successfully running the ball vs the Bucs which normally does not happen with their run defense, ..but no Kellen was so intent on pass happying Dak into rythem that he
stop emphasizing the run vs Bucs. .. seem like he did not learn squat since the Vic Fangio blue print in '21.
