I wonder. We could be setting ourselves up for long-term failure by way of short-term success. A crappy coach would inherit: a team with arguably a bunch of the right components already in place; an arguably easier schedule than the Cowboys have had in years; an arguably easier division than years as the Commanders have relatively few resources to replenish and could be floundering and the Giants are stuck with a very unpopular coach, without their superstar RB, ageing and fractious.
