I will be consistent in my takes

Dak is neither awful nor great....just inconsistent

Rush is a cerebral Qb that has physical limitations

Lance is hopeless.

I stand by what ive said before. The next Qb that will raise a Lombardi for the Cowboys is not yet on this team.

It's a waste of time arguing over these guys

Well, from what I saw he sure does not have that weak arm that others say he does. He put some zip and some good fast long throws that were almost there that I have not seen the other QB do as good.

He might have to fill in for a game or two.
His deep ball arm strength isn’t very good he probably maxes out at 45ish yards which can be fine if you’re leading a receiver and give him a chance to get it. Where it looked like his arm strength improved was on those intermediate passes when his back foot hits and the ball comes out. WCO type QB

You ran to the box score because you didnt watch the game im assuming. Cooper was let down by a drop by Ceedee in the end zone, and tolbert slowing up on his route. Meanwhile Dak got credited for a 30 yard pass play on a checkdown to Ferguson that he turned into a lot of yac.

Stats lie, like us non-dak guys have been telling yall for years
Wrong...I listened to it on sirius xm....but I wasn't impressed by his garbage time production.

yep i said it.

Down the field throws. Throws on time. Throws hitting the receiver in stride. He even had the awareness to keep the ball on the option to pick up that first down

Rush> Dakota
He looked very decisive and efficient with his throws. He didn't waste any time doing stupid twitches and making stupid faces.....I'd just roll with Rush and lance from here on out!

He definitely tried to push the ball downfield with the attempts. Unfortunately his average was still below Dak’s pathetic 5.5 YPA. Rush doesn’t have the physical ability, but he’s smart and that’s what makes him a good backup.
Can anyone see what his air yards per attempt/completion were? All I remember are little dink and dunk passes that somehow got excellent YAC. I’d be shocked if he threw more than 75 yards through the air today

We're 3-5 or better with Rush if he started Week 1.

Jerry is paying Dak 60 Mil a year for a job Rush could do.

Yep. With the money saved, we may have been able to get some help along the entire team. I wouldn't be surprised if we were 4-4 or 5-3 with Rush. $60 mil can buy us a ton of help.

When Rush was in, the Falcons had gone to a soft coverage shell, with cover two safeties 15 yards off the line of scrimmage and most cornerbacks typically 7-8 yards off the receiver.

They were basically creating a bracket to take away deep shots but giving up short to intermediate passes, particularly to the middle of the field. They were giving the Cowboys those routes in return for tackling after the catch to force the Cowboys to burn clock driving the field.

Rush was just taking what the Falcons coverage was giving them. He also had a few inaccurate throws to receivers he could have hit on the drive that culminated with the TD pass to Tolbert.

Not defending Dak through this post. Just saying that Rush wasn't really facing tight/contested coverage.
