When you go 13-3 and are the top of the NFC people study you and adapt. We don't. Plus left guard wasn't settled and still isn't until TC was over, and Collins is a first year RT who isn't that great.
"The Cowboys play the same every year" "that's why I picked the Giants"

A disgusted gambler after game 1.

Leary wasn't the answe to everything

They did overrate Collins

Agree. It's very concerning.

Something is just not right.

And frankly, when you have three of the best OL at their respective positions, it's unacceptable.

I think lack of continuity at LG is a real issue. I think Collins will eventually settle in at RT, but Green really hurts us. He's the most talented candidate for LG and yet he can't stay on the field.

I'll say it. I would not mind taking the kid from ND, Quentin Nelson, if he's the BPA when we pick in Rd 1 this year. He'd be a nasty LG.

They are underperforming in pass protection this year.

Witten hasn't helped either. His blocking was awful today. He looks done in every aspect of the game.
Witten has also been an odd case this season. Back in the pre-season it looked like he was young again and going to have a big renaissance season.

They married themselves to the Collins at RT move before ever really seeing him there in real game situations, but that hasn't even been the worst part.

Zack Martin and Tyron have been absolutely manhandled this year. They're both on skates. Martin was atrocious today. I don't know if it's chemistry or what, but he's played well below his all-pro ability.

It has to be lack of continuity. I mean a mid 20s LT and OG don't suddenly lose their skills.

The other best OL in the league is getting handled by Denver right now. Tough day.

The concerning issue is the play of our big 3 o linemen. They don't look nearly as dominating as they usually do.

Collins is a better guard but they basically guaranteed Collins a tackle spot in order to get him to sign here.

Yet Romo still found a way to ball out behind them.

Excuses and denial among the kool aid drinkers

Let's find a better option than Dink and Dunk, Dak

How many 8-8 or losing seasons did Romo have? What's Daks record?

Hard to block 8 with 5. Give them a QB who can make a couple of throws against single coverage.

Are you trying to argue that Romo isn't a better QB than Prescott? If not what's the point of your post? Are we really going this route? Where play on the field and seeing with your own eyes doesn't matter because of the team's record?

The hypocrisy is starting to rear its ugly head around here. Now it's the coaching or the receivers or the offensive line or the defense where as before it was just the QB couldn't win when it mattered.

I wonder how long before Dak is labeled a choker? It took Romo losing his 1st playoff game. Dak has already done that.

The OL is in transition after losing 2 starters. Collins is overrated so far but will get more rope. Smith has looked average at times too. There is something going on with coordination between the OGs and center. If it works itself out we will be OK and can cover for a bad D. IF......

Meanwhile, I am watching the Broncos game and they are running on the Raiders at will behind Leary.
Number 65 may have been the lowest paid guy we had but he is a killler whEn run blocking.

Are we talking about Dak in the fourth game of his second season vs Tony Romo at that stage in his career?

No hypocrisy here. I've been against Garrett literally from day one. I was also one of Romo's biggest fans. I've also not been a fan of a Dez since day one. As far as the OL, this is the first season we've really had to deal with a regression, so not sure where that's coming from. Maybe you need to read around a little bit before you start popping off.

Know what I saw today? A QB throw for 259 yards on 20/36 passing, with 3 scores. In fact, he should have had four touchdowns but one was dropped. He also threw a strike for a first down on the final drive that was, you guessed it, dropped. You're telling me that's not good, adequate or even acceptable play for you?

I don't even have to ask, because I know, Romo had some VERY bad games his second season. Hell, he had them his whole career. I saw the talent though and he made more plays than he missed. He was also a wizard when things broke down. Kind of like.... you guessed it, Dak Prescott!

The point of my post, was that Dak is still learning and growing. He's not going to look like an all pro every day, but he was very good for 3/4 of the game today.

You may want to arrange your thoughts a little better before you call anyone a hypocrite, because that's exactly what you look like.
