With the resources that we've invested into this line, they've been extremely disappointing. Pass blocking is really suspect. What's the deal?

Why do people have to exaggerate everything?

Dak was holding the ball a long time on many snaps.

The pressure ramps up late when they're behind. The OL can't block everyone on blitzes.

The Cowboys offense is limited by Dez and Witten. Witten would be OK if they had a true #1 WR or Dez would be OK if they had a dynamic TE threat or dynamic 2nd WR.

They covered up the limited range of Witten and Dez last season by an overwhelming run offense; however, this season the run offense is out of sync. Zeke is not the same and the OL is off on the timing of their run blocking.

The current OL is still better than Romo had most years of his career.

Wrong. Many of us could see the greatness and potential from game 1. This guy just doesn't have the "it" factor that can carry a team. Just not gonna happen with Dink and Dunk Dak

ok dude, whatever you say. i own two romo jerseys and loved the guy. but for one, we aren’t talking about greatness. we are talking about “clutch”. Romo was NOT clutch early in his career. just because dak isn’t a gun-slinger like tony doesn’t mean he won’t be a great qb.

it’s too early to call dak great or mediocre like you called him.

How well did Romo do "balling out behind them"

How many div championships? Ever reach a Superbowl? How many 8-8 seasons?

Look at Romo's QBR over the seasons. Outside of 2014, it couldn't touch Dak's. And Romo couldn't stay healthy.

It's the same problems we had with Romo...when we stop stretching the field vertically the offense is apt to struggle.

And Romo was worse his 1st 2 seasons in the league. 32 ints. 32 ints. 32 ints. 32 ints..................

Yes, but we saw the great throws as well. The good with the bad, the ups with the downs. Dak just puts people to sleep. No guts, no rocket arm anybody fears just a bus driver. Total Conservative passer and always will be. Most of us will pass on the dink and dunker and wish for the next great QB

Nope, he doesn't pass the eye test. As Cowboys fans we should hope for better. He's just doesn't have the "it factor like Romo, Staubach, Aikman, and white had. Next Quincy

Romo didn't have the IT factor throwing 32 ints his 1st 2 seasons. What Romo were you watching? LOL. 32 FREAKIN INTS. Not 10, not 20, but 32.

The o-line has been very average at best. Zeke has been bottled up and getting hit 2 yards deep on at least 50% of his runs.

Dak has no time to let plays develop and gets happy feet. The strength of this team is not being the strength.

Romo carried a bunch of 5-11 / 6-10 teams to 8+ wins.

It looks like we're going to find out if Dak can do the same, unfortunately

He had pressure right up the middle almost immediately on a lot of plays. Look at the two 2 point attempts.

That's when you know it's time to make sweeping changes.

So why not see if we can get a better option at the QB position? Shouldn't we want the best at the most important position? Great offense but mediocre QB. Clearly not working

So far, I'd have to say the entire team has regressed. Coaching included.

Coaching was never good in the first place to regress. They have been terrible the whole time. We win in spite of them, not because of them. Like the Rams, you would see a huge difference with this team if they got rid of the stale coaching staff like they did with Fisher and his cronies.

Garrett/Marinelli/Linehan to me is the worst staff in football. Or at least bottom 3.

Today you would think it was the Rams that had the 'best' o line in the league. Did we sack Goff once? I know Lawrence hit his arm for a fumble, but other than that Goff and Gurley shredded the defense.

Most times Goff had all day, other times he was able to get the ball out so quick because we played 7 yards off the WRs as we love to do.

Yet Romo still found a way to ball out behind them.

Excuses and denial among the kool aid drinkers

Let's find a better option than Dink and Dunk, Dak

Ball out? You mean three straight 8-8 seasons? Injured all of 2015. Most of 2010. 2 total playoff wins in 10 seasons.

Yeah, "balling out"....
