The offensive line was killed. What's your suggestion?

Romo needs to roll out and run when its there.

Thats a good start.

We make it too easy for defenses. Strahan said it, "we want to keep in the pocket and attack it".

Romo tried to rollout once and got mowed down because Colombo's lateral movement was non-existent. He wasn't ready to return.

Here's a suggestion: win enough games during the regular season to ensure that you don't face the best front four in football in their own house.

I like your suggestion.

There is a very good chance no matter what happens we dont have to face that line in that situation ever again. I know we go there next year. But who knows who will be QB for them. It could be Tevarus Jackson or Sage Rosenfels ect. We very well could just stay put and win it all next year. I dont want to retool my team just to try to build a team that matches up well with a vikings team that may not even be relevant next season. For the 3rd time in a row this season all the teams playing in the championship round were not around the previous 3 years. So much parity.

Colombo has an injury history and you have to see what you have in Free.If anything you have to let Free challenge Columbo for the job at RT next season. You have to get younger at the position if you have a chance to do so.Same thing goes for Kosier at LG,I hope to see Brewster get a shot at Kosiers spot on the line.

Craig

colombo has had 1 injury. granted it was career threatening. but it was 1 injury.

 Colombo has had 2 major injuries. He had the one that ended his career is Chicago and breaking his leg this year with the Cowboys.

...that's true nyc, but I can assure you this guy will be back. They love what he brings when healthy, which has been MOST of the time with the Cowboys. The dilemma is that Flo is harder to replace because LT gets teams best rushers. However I BELIEVE Flo's deal is easier to opt out of, so......I think Free and Colombo will be your tackles next year with Brewster or another rookie replacing Kosier who would be a backup. Flo would be a great backup, but he's too good to be a backup and makes too much money: I think, to be traded. We might really be screwed here.......

This is about the best suggestion I have seen. I would also draft another interior lineman somewhere in the middle rounds and perhaps sign a veteran RT for depth.

I see this happening as well. If Free takes over at RT and Colombo and/or McQuistan is released, we'll need another interior lineman like you said and a swing tackle. Man this draft is going to be OL heavy.

..........it may or may not be OL heavy. Remember: this organization's draft track record with olinemen is horrific: really, really bad. That's the scary part to me.

Are you actually suggesting we allow a vested veteran who just signed a nice extension in the past year to have to earn his starting job through a truly open competition?

Have you lost your mind? We do not do things that way.
