He is probably in Jerry's office as we speak begging for one more chance.

Will Jerry cave and give it to him or tell him to get his fat arse out of his office?

We should know by tommorow the answer.
I mean it falls on him. This team was not prepared again in the playoffs. There are things I like about MM but there is no way Jerry can sell him to the fanbase again. It felt like this team was in a daze through most of that first half.

Exactly, which is why (unless things take an unexpected change at the top) we'll be having regular "Fire the HC/DC/OC" threads after each season.
Excellent point my friend...............we have a billionaire playing real life fantasy football.

Until that changes, I dont think we are going to be winning very many playoff games.

He's had three years to handle the penalty problem and hasn't gotten it done.
I have never had or seen a coach at any level that couldn't solve a penalty problem in a matter of weeks or days.
He's just another Jerry puppet who needs to pack his stuff and hit the road.

To be fair to him, at what point did he start to fail. Two days ago the majority of the fanbase thought we had the MVP and was losing our DC. TV criticism of the simplified offense.....well again that offense suited Dak and allowed him to (top 3) in MVP voting. The real issue is that we (Dak) has issues under pressure (which is ironic with his qualifications), if your QB near capitulates (Int/Punt/Int) when facing a deficit, there's not a great deal the Coach can do.

I’m only posting in here because there is no “we never should have hired MM to begin with” thread. Have a good day, carry on.

Hey I voted "no" in last weeks thread.. some of us saw the writing on the wall.

MM has got issues.. issues with the scheme, issues solving the penalty issue.. his offensive scheme is too simple and his clock management is woeful.

However the biggest failing is not identifying that Dak is a dud. And no matter how many regular season wins you get.. you can't get humiliated like this and keep your job.

If he's calling the plays he should of got Schottenheimer managing the clock. In a way he created an offense which suited Dak (as so many said, up to 24 hrs ago). There's got to be a frank decision and admittance from MM that he just cant get any more out of Dak.....but as you say THAT's ON DAK (well his repetitive failure when pressure's on him).

I am done if he is back, and if so that tells me Jerry really is not about winning, only making $
Ehh there’s both sides to it. I am totally fine if people want him gone but it’s really not that black and white but I respect your opinion and totally get the frustration

you can say what you want about players not showing up, pouting on sidelines, change coaches, but the one constant here thru all the playoff misery is the ownership

If someones argument is bashing the owners that’s fair…don’t agree but it’s fair. However, in that case you shouldn’t really be upset today bc you can’t say simultaneously the team is a contender that should have made at least the championship game AND ownership sucks/ they won’t ever win with them.

If ownership is so bad then there shouldn’t be real expectations for the team….yet most figured we would be at least in the division round again if not more.

Won't matter who the HC is.

The offense a d defense were both terrible. The supposed best player of the field a non factor and the highest paid player for either team was a dud. Stupid penalties have also been an issue since jimmy left. This team is done. Now they will need a new HC, OC, DC and who knows what else

So much frustration after this loss. It's overreaction Monday so I share everyone's emotional disgust at yet another example of the "same old Cowboys." I am going to state that the "same old Cowboys" do seem to put a competitive product on the field most seasons, but those same Cowboys are unable to win in the playoffs. Doesn't that mean our ownership can pick players but not coaches? The team yesterday was clearly unprepared and laid down and quit. No mental toughness at all. The indictment of Mike McCarthy goes to both the lack of preparation and the lack of mental toughness. The indictment of Jerry Jones is that he can't pick the right coaches and he can't pick the right quarterback to win in the post-season.

I have no idea how you right this ship. I think we need new coaches, a new quarterback, and better players in certain positions. That feels a lot like rebuilding to me. Can Jerry get that done in the time he has left. I honestly don't think he can.

That's is why I'm not surprised that they lost. i think ownership is bad, since they are the GM as well. Thank god they didn't draft Johnny Manzel years ago like Jerry wanted to, his son talked him out of it. And I'm sorry, As good as Zeke was i still believe they should have drafted Jalen Ramsey, guy is still in the league.

They need to draft for defense!!

Quinn has to go. All season could not stop the run and play action kills them. Cowboys had 6plus DB's on the field for 48 of 54 snaps, no wonder they couldn't stop the run.
Just like the Buffalo game.
