What the hell?
Not as good as your wish for the Cowboys to lose.Jerry's really showing us!!! lol How'd your wish of Garrett winning the Super Bowl go?
Contract ends 1/14some here in this thread are saying that Jerry may wait until JG's contract runs out so he can then hire him to front office and save face for JG. couple questions: when does his contract "officially" end? and why in the world would waiting til the contract is officially over stop Jerry from just promoting him to a front office position? I don't think waiting would save any more "face" than just doing it now would.
It's unbelievable. He should've been fired first thing this morning. Why are they dragging this out?
Yes, I've been reminded about a dozen times already (before the thread was closed and move here) that I made that dumb statement. If only I could get the Mods to let me retract that part of my post...I'll get a number of replies to this affect as the day goes (AND DESERVEDLY SO). But thanks for setting me straight, anyways!Hiring Rivera is fulfilling the Rooney Rule.
Hes meeting with Jerry, not meeting with Jerry. Whats going on here? Seriously. And why is a guy that isnt going to be HC doing exit interviews? Looks like he is staying. I am done.
no way should jerry wait that long. I don't think it is even necessary. Simply be worded to say that "we thank JG for his service as his contract expires on January 14th, so we are currently looking for his replacement" as they go ahead and get a new HC now.Contract ends 1/14
Jerry is just waiting for all the other teams to announce their firings and let the media cover all those for a few hours. He wants to make sure he has the spotlight to himself when the announcement is made, probably right about time for the 5 o'clock news so they will cut live to the "breaking story"

They’ve already won nothing with Jason. Not as good as your wish for the Cowboys to lose.
This fan base is going to revolt. He cant sell it but he doesnt care.Exactly. It would make no sense for a coach who won't be on the staff next year to do exit interviews.
My guess is they are going to pin our failures on Marinelli, Richard, and the special teams guy. And roll with Jason and Moore again in 2020.
And for the 5th time, Garrett will have successfully scapegoated a coordinator to save his job.
As i said above. Only reason for him to be doing this is if he is staying.Seems odd that they would let Garrett do exit interviews
