***The Official Roy Williams Gripe Thread*** | MERGE |

I bet he's happy with his 100 yards and TD in garbage time.
Pathetic.

Crayton was far better today than Roy.
That fumble was ridiculous.

:hammer:

Yes, yes it would be easier to pull ONLY negatives with what happened today with Roy Williams.

BUT.. what I see is a player that is getting involved in this offense. I believe he and Romo will be at full strength as we head down the stretch of the regular season.

If this is his great emergence, I'd much rather he just go back into hiding. Turning the ball over and dropping EASY passes does far more harm than anything else he did today.

I dunno how I feel about him. I mean I didnt exactly expect him to be a top 10 WR.

agree.....the fumble sucked but you cant help but notice that Romo and RW are getting it together

RW had 100 yds recieving today, he showed promise and that's all we can hope for.

The underlying problem is the O-line and GB shredded them all day long. We gave up 5 sacks and it wasn't because of Free either...

Why not? He is getting paid like one. no?

Would you trade several high draft picks and millions of dollars for "promise"?

...another thing.

On the drop that went right through his hands and hit him in the facemask, it seem like he was blaming Romo for throwing it too high. I don't know what he was actually complaining about, but he kept yelling towards Romo and pumping his hands in the air. Not sure anyone else caught that.

Crayton was the best receiver on the team today. Made an absolutely sick catch on 4th and long. Roy Williams, not so much.

Most of his yards came in that last drive....
That's nothing to be proud about, GB clearly had the game and they knew it.
The GB secondary could care less if we scored.

I thought he was trying to say the lights got into his eyes or something.

I think he actually wanted Romo to throw it higher, like, "put it here next time"

but that **** was catch able as ****

I think Joey Galloway is available, if anyone wants to revisit that.

Anyone still believes in this guy?? If so, why??

So where is the thread about the rest of the offense? You know, the other ten guys that didn't do squat.

It seems there always has to be someone to blame and this guy is the whipping boy of sites like this.

Maybe...just maybe the other team was prepared and played a great game.

That's what I thought as well.

R Williams didn't have a good game tonight, but I think he and Romo are starting to get on the same page - esp over the past two games.

I never agreed with what we gave up but NONE of us make those decisions. He's on this team and he's here to stay. Based on what has happened the last few games he has gotten in sync with romo. He has some boneheaded plays today, but what about the whole team? why are we pointing the finger at just one guy in this loss when we had miscues across the board?

u guys act like he is the only WR to fumble or drop an easy pass...sheesh.

honestly, run this guy on slants and crossing routes and he will eat defenses alive.

Yes i am disappointed and angry over the fumble and the ball right off his hands, but at least he is also making plays as a receiver now and not just as a blocker. he scored a TD today, in garbage time, but it was a contested garbage time TD.

People look at his paycheck and expect Randy Moss or Jerry Rice.....it isnt going to happen. He is more of a possession type WR....but we arent using him that way. Once Garrett starts giving him the proper routes (the Michael Irvin type routes)....then his production will be very good.

Get over it, Roy had a good game, he dropped one, and he fumbled trying to make a play. It happens all the time. Romo and Roy are getting on the same page. No one on offense had a good day, the other WR's dropped passes and couldn't get open either.

I swear, some here were just itching for a loss to start their whining. I understand the whining after the Denver and Giants game, but we have seen what that this team can play against good teams and win. We knew they would lose again this year, if you didn't, you are kidding yourself.

Its just a hiccup, a way to slap them back to reality........Get over it. Roy is not the reason we lost this game.

Green Bay was very good today. That doesn't change the fact that Williams has been awful in a Dallas uniform so far. That catch and fumble is inexcusable, I'm sorry.

Roy had major mistakes today. But you can't focous on his mistakes and ignore overthrows of wideopen receivers for touchdown opportunities. I am neither a Roy nor Romo fan I am a Cowboys fan. I don't think we consistently win putting it all on either of their shoulder. We need to stick with the run longer if we are going to be contenders.
