Why don't you people go and root for the Browns. My goodness who cares about Cooper. You act like this guy was some difference while he was here. We went no where with Cooper.
We had the #1 ranked offense with Cooper. A top 10 ranked offense with this defense, this year would be absolutely lethal. Cooper elevated the offense the day he stepped on the field until the day he left. This cannot be argued.

Yeah Cooper was the reason why we had the #1 offense. You people are so delusional. When it mattered most Cooper was nowhere to be round.

Cooper is open every play, even on the Browns, because he is such a good route runner. Everyone focuses on ball skills, but I think route running is 50% of it. If you're giving your QB a giant window to throw into, it makes his job much easier. You don't see that kind of separation with Lamb. I am hoping he gets there though.

Cooper was single covered most of last season. He even admitted it himself by season's end. Yet, he struggled half the time to get open. Even during the playoff loss where Cooper caught a TD, half of the game he either struggled to get open or he would run a lazy route when he knew the playcall was not coming to him. He also lazily didn't hustle towards the end of the game where he could have made some downfield key blocks for a few of the other receivers when they caught a pass and were trying to run for more yards after the catch. The Cowboys noticed all of that and correctly decided Amari Cooper was no longer worth paying $20+ million/year anymore.

Bye! Good riddance. Amari forced the Cowboys to cut him. Now we know why the Raiders were so eager to get rid of him.

How is it delusional to suggest a better receiving group would solve many of the problems of this offense? Receivers not getting open led to the worst game QB1 played as a starter. What's delusional is those of your ilk defending the decision to move on from a legitimate threat, knowing the position group would suffer terribly. What's delusional is thinking a 3rd round small school rookie could replace a former pro bowler's productivity. Why are you holding onto the silly argument that Cooper wouldn't make a difference on this team. He's elevating Brisett's game, just as he did Dak's game. This is a fact.

They traded Coop so they could have cap space to help resign Diggs, Lamb, and Gallup. Hopefully once Gallup returns he can fill 75% of the void created by the loss of Cooper.

You keep having that opinion of Cooper while he keeps stacking 100 yard games with a backup qb.

If you're talking about the SF game then who did show up?
