Was going to say McClain until I thought about the big picture. Call it cherry picking if you want, didn't mention his back problems, that's a plum. If there is only one person that can sink this ship, it's the Captain, better keep him afloat.

Garrett has tripled down on O-line so we good...:)

Most INT in 4th Quarter or OT since 2010
Score Tied or Leading by 7 or Fewer

And he's not only making these mistakes as the Cowboys attempt to rally from late deficits. Eight of Romo's fourth-quarter interceptions have come with the Cowboys tied or leading by one score - that's the most in the NFL in that span. Those give opposing teams life when Dallas should have been icing the win.

For starters, that was October 7, 2013.

You may wish to count the last 29 games if you're going to throw him under the bus.

The irony is that guys final conclusion was that Tomorrow has far fewer 4th qtr picks and a much higher late game rating than many "clutch" QB like Big Ben and Brees.
I sure it's much better still these last 29 games since that old article.

You just searched for the max negative effect and printed it

Anyway, I wouldn't blame anyone for who they mayor may not trust.
Can't help how you feel sometimes.

Some constantly look for Romo to falter. He could play lights out for 7-8 straight games and all along they think each big moment he'll blow it.
They'll be wrong many dozens of plays...wrong time after time after time..., but eventually, like how even a broken clock is right twice a day, there will be a bad play...and they'll say "see, told you so"

I'm hoping Vaughn beats him out too, or he actually lives up to his 1st round projection and becomes a stud. High hopes indeed.

Weeden looked very good vs washington. And looked like he was going to get Dallas that win. Romo forced his way bck into the game and lost the game. He shouldve never been allowed back in. Weeden bombed against one of the best defenses in the nfl last yr. Cards defense made alot of QBs look bad.

I'm sorry..

and some will hate me..

but my answer is Tony Romo.

I just don'the trust he can get us where we want to go.

I saw it again in the Packer playoff game.

I know everybody wants to point at the Dez non-catch as the reason we lost..

or the lack of a pass rush.

But even with all that..

the defense had them down 21-6 in the 3rd Qt. and we clearly had control of the game.

Lack of pass rush wasn't that much of a factor.

The problem was..

Romo couldn't close the deal.

The offense went into a shell and he stopped throwing except on 3rd downs when the Packers were ready.

And the Dez throw was a despair throw like I have seen him do throughout his career.

All we needed was a first down and keep the chains moving and he went deep for the Hero Ball.

It was like only 2nd down when he did that as I recall.

So to me..no matter what else Romo does..

He has to win playoff games..

not turn the ball over and win when HE HAS TO IN BIG GAMES.

Like all the big boy QB'S do.

Hey..be realistic if you reply here as what I just said is a truism until Romo proves otherwise.

Well, everyone has already let you know how wrong you are, so I will leave that alone. I hope every time you think someone is waving at you they are really waving at the person behind you.

lol, whatever. There was not a single person in the entire stadium who though that Weeden was going to march the entire length of the field at the end of the game against a blitzing Haslett/Skins defense. And the only thing he did of note was hand off and "throw" a touchdown pass to a Witten who was so wide open, my Grandmother could have hit him. You go Romo every time, unless he died in the locker room. And even then I still want him over Weeden.

Bucky Brooks listed Tony Romo as the sixth-most clutch quarterback in the NFL, even Brooks himself had to qualify his choice by noting that the "sight of Romo Since 2011, he's thrown eight interceptions in the fourth quarter of games within seven points. But during the same span and under those same circumstances, golden boy Tom Brady has 10 picks.

During the same span and in the same situation, Philip Rivers has 13 interceptions, while Eli Manning has 11.

We can all find stats to fit our argument

I believe Weeden would have gotten the W because he had their number that day. Romo was injured so badly he proved to be ineffective that day and had he played against the Cardinals the following week they would have retired him.. That was the one game that bit us more than any other because it was obvious the only QB having any success that day was Weeden..

Hardy is the obvious answer since he has the domestic violence stench on him, I trust he will get back on track but he's the one you have to pick here.

Depends on what you mean by trust.

I don't trust Lee to stay healthy. Trust him completely when he plays.

I don't trust McFadden to be anything more than the mediocre player he has been thus far in his career.

I don't trust Randle to be mentally mature enough to handle being a starter and counted upon for a significant role.

I would have to say Gregory. I wiped him off of my draft board the minute I found out he failed his Combine drug test. He did get a big taste of humble pie during the draft, but I don't trust him. As he was telling both Goodell & Garrett, "I won't let you down", I was thinking, "I wonder if he said the same thing to his coach at Nebraska after each failed drug test". He's going to have to prove to me & many other fans that I know in the long run that he is not the next Josh Gordon-someone who is willing to give up everything for the weed-before we can be comfortable trusting him.

Hardys DV issue shouldnt matter to anybody because it happened before he was on the team, and because he isnt in that relationship anymore. The guy seems to already be a leader on this team, so many players talk about his work ethic, and him basically calling out one of the lazier people on the team in coleman. I was impressed when Witten actually came out and spoke for him, because Witten went thru the whole DV issue in his life with his father.

This is a hypothetical thread because news is slow. I trust JG and everyone on the staff so I think even though we have a few guys who have made questionable decisions, I don't think anything will happen. If you had to pick though, or if there is a player you really don't trust, who is going to get into trouble in 2015. I'm not putting Dez because he has never been suspended before. You can put Dez if you want

Hardy
McClain
Scandrick
Gregory
Randle

I trust McClain the least and if I had to guess on someone falling off due to character it would be him.

McClain

Don't take offense. I thought folks might be lighting up and mellowing out in The Branch, that's all. :)
