Close but no cigar. Was really pulling for him and I don't even really care for golf lol.

I just knew Spieth was going to get a little too over confident for 17.

Did he walk that off wrong? He kept telling his caddie 87, but TV had it at 102 yards. Oh well, great run, I thought for sure we were watching a piece of history after his birdie on 16.

I am rooting for Oosthuizen in the playoff.

1 hole left come on Zack. At least all 3 majors thus far will be in the hands of Americans

Jordan is not known for overconfidence.
His reputation is one of cautious aggressiveness, always knowing the risk vs benefit, playing within himself, and trusting his skills.
He's also incredibly resilient; the double-bogey could have caused his game to fall apart, but he rallied and almost made it back.

Quite a mature champion at 21.

Spieth had to shoot a 66 to be in the running today. 2nd round 72 hurt him. Still played really well.

Zach had a bit of good fortune, in that he got out early today and played the vulnerable front side before the weather came in.
He also was far enough back that he wasn't involved in the terrible 2nd round finishing wind debacle.

He's the kind of golfer who can win these, though -- tough, relentless, resilient, straight driver, and great short game.

Glad to see another US victory.

Yeah. Especially during up and down weather weeks like this, it takes some good fortune. That 2nd round weather that Spieth (and a few others) played in reminded me of the caddy shack preacher scene.

Have to laugh at the term cautious aggressiveness. You do realize you contradicted yourself, right?

Woah, what a finish. I just finally caught my breath. Congrats to ZJ on the win. Augusta and St. Andrews....if you could only win 2 majors, those would be the 2 venues you would pick to win them at!

Hats off to Jordan for a gutsy performance, a thrilling finish and an outstanding year so far. There's a lot more to come from that young man, for sure!

Yesterday Jordan answered a bogey with 3 straight birdies. Today he answered a 4 putt double with 2 birds. Champions respond to adversity. He's a steely competitor, can't wait to see how his career unfolds.

I wonder if @JordanSpieth understands the emotional roller coaster he's given us this year. It was amazing. Thank you for making it fun bro
