Don’t see how the Cowboys HC job could be unattractive when practically everyone who’s been associated with the team has had success off the field. Look at Aikman, Moose, Romo, Jimmy and Jason Garrett just to name a few. Being associated with the Cowboys has opened up a lot of doors.

How many of those guys’ success was in the 90s? Obviously Romo isn’t but most of the big “success stories” are guys that have rings from the glory days when we actually played in conference championships and SBs. Even Garrett has a ring from those days.

Had they had their success with another team they likely wouldn’t be having the success outside of football that they are. Marcus Spears has a gig with ESPN and he didn’t come close to winning a ring with the Cowboys. Jason Garrett had nothing to do with us getting any of those rings in the 90s. Making his name as a Cowboys HC is why he landed a gig on NBC. Had he coached another NFL team he wouldn’t have a TV job

exactly, at the 3nd of the day, Cowboy HC gets 7-8 national tv games and another 5-6 in 125pt time slot. No other team can match it.

Isn't there already a thread about this full of complaining about Jones? Seriously, can we just start a new forum threads where all the Jones complaints can go? I get it, I really do. But I'm tired of reading it, ad nauseum, in every single thread.

I've come close to making this post many times. I'll see an intriguing title and it's just Jerry sucks over and over .. which is true of course.

Ironically I don't think this post is exactly that however. I thought this was a really good thread.
