Lol. You have the video, you now have the rules since you didn't know them and then you ask for more video that isn't available while not answering any of my questions. All the proof needed here. Thanks for playing.
What video are you talking about. There is nothing that shows he hit him high. Your thanks for playing ******** is getting old. I will answer any question you have. Why didn’t they show any replays on this penalty? It took forever for the first and longer for the second and both never actually showed the contact.

1 Angle he looks like he might be down with the ball lose Another angle shows he is down with the ball in control. You go with the best angle He did not fumble If he did he recovered it

I thought it looked like he could have, and should have gotten it back under control, but I never saw the replay that definitively showed that. My call was "after review, the play stands as called".

I have been discouraged in recent years with the NFL’s rule changes where as a viewer at home you have no idea anymore what the referees are going to decide when they review a play. I use to feel I knew the rules well enough where I was sure of the call after watching it but not anymore.

But that overturned fumble has to be the worst reversal I have ever seen. The replay with the side view clearly shows the ball coming loose but during the review the officials had to see some view that was indisputable that the runner reestablished control of the ball and then fumbled a second time after his knee had already touched the ground. The only other view they showed was from behind and there is no way you can say that he reestablished control and lost it again.

That call really has me concerned. How in the world can any official stand by the call that they see irrefutable evidence of reestablishing control and losing it again?

Has anyone heard any other explanation? Was there another view we did not see?
That was bizarre because clearly it was a fumble, just another play to prove we need professional full time refs, not lawyers, bankers, city workers etc and not people trying to make an extra buck or two moonlighting as a professional referee when most don't have a clue. Full time year long refs, when season is off you are training to be better at your job.

Whatever Maecus they did not have"Undiputable proof" to over turn the call but yet here you are again...they had good video of him losing control with none that he got it back...but again here you are "Setting us Cowboys Fan staright" lol

Lol, another one. Are you even following here? I agree with the threadstarter on that topic. Someone else brought up the unnecessary roughness penalty and THAT is what I'm talking about with your clueless little buddy there.

Really don’t understand why fans complain about a call in a game the Cowboys won. It was a close call and they overturned it so move on!

Oh my goodness, bro. Please just give up debating as any kind of recreational activity. Lol.

Clearly the RB had regained possession before he went down. The replay from the end zone (behind the RB) was the best angle. It was easy to see he had the ball when his knee hit the turf.

I am not one to complain about officials, but that was a bizarre reversal. That one end zone shot isn't conclusive that he had the ball back firmly in his possession. And the point is that unless it's conclusive, you can't change the call on the field.

Some may imagine or speculate, but nobody saw him regain control in the videos, period.

Not to hijack the thread, but I don’t want to start one. The roughing the passer call was only shown on replay from 2 angles and it took a VERY long time to get the first and longer to get the second… Live, i knew it was getting called. But both replays showed it was a terrible call and there are how many cameras for a National broadcast ? We can’t see it from the sideline camera ?

I think the replays they showed clearly showed it was a penalty. As he came down from jumping, he appeared to use his forearm to brace himself against Fields. The forearm hit in the neck/chin area. That's going to get called every single time if the ref sees it. You simply cannot touch the QB in that area. It's an easy call based on today's rules if the official sees it.

he had possession after he bobbled it

then his knee hit the ground and the ball came out

sucks but it is what it is
The ball cannot be seen when his knee is down.

This is likely because he never repossed it, and when it bounced back to him it immediately bounced back out.

And, even if he did reposess it, the ball still can't be seen when his knee is down, so there is no conclusive evidence that he was down before fumbling again.

What exactly are you talking about. We can debate anything you would like. The video replay you provided doesn’t show anything that is in the rule you posted. I would like to see any other angle of the play that wasn’t from either end zone.

Didn't look like a fumble to me.

I was more disappointed in our players trying to cheat.

I was surprised too because they had to reverse the call on the field. I didn't think any replay showed it clearly at all, which I thought you had to have to reverse a call already made on the field.

In both replays you can see the forearm hit Fields in the neck area. I think it's pretty obvious.
