The Packers game will tell me a lot about this team

I think this is a better matchup than the Rams game especially given they were missing a bunch of regulars on "d".

If Lee and Awuzie are back, it allows them to play there defense and I think they pull it out. No excuse not too really.

If they play four quarters, they should beat the beat up Packers by ten.

I don't worry a ton about 2-2 at the quarter season mark.

Having said that, if they loose to Green Bay and drop to 2-3 at basically the 1/3rd season mark, then I think the alarms go off in a real way.

This is a Packer team coming in with all sorts of problems and they haven't looked very good despite their 3-1 start.

IMHO if I am going to hold onto my dream that the Cowboys are a Superbowl calibre team this year, they must win this home game vs the Pack.
Ehhh 2-3 isn't a huge deal either. It's a longgggg season.

I don't need to wait. Pretty obvious outcome if they don't start following the success from last year. In true Red mode they will shank the run game, move away from the spread that failed in the playoffs, and move to a two TE formation to throw the Pack off of their game. Gonna be a long three weeks in the zone and if Zeke is out for a while gonna be a long year.

I said in the summer that I think this is going to be a long year. They will once again handle success poorly. I didn't like the distraction with Zeke. I didn't like his body language at camp. I certainly didn't like the safe space environment of training camp. I also said that if the Cowboys are a serious contender this year it would really impress me. It would be a true turning of the page. No more talk of the last 20 years of failure. This is a new era.

I just don't see it. This team is what they've always been and I don't know how they get past that without changes at the top.
The Butcher with the mike drop...could not agree more. Was preaching this to all the wait till next year club members right after the loss to GB and many months following....thank goodness for FF the past twenty plus years.

10 day rest for GB, several of their injured players will be back, and Rodgers against this defense.....doesn't look real promising.

Not sure why this game means that much one way or another. Dallas pretty much beat up Green Bay during season last year then lost in the playoffs. I am not sure if any of hte injured Packers will be back this week. Baktiari and Bullaga are still banged up. If they are not playing, the Dallas defense should have their way with the Packers. The Cowboys are not the Bears and will beat up their defensive and offensive lines. I am hoping the Packers are playing their best ball at the end of Novemeber thru December. What happens this week should not matter in the grand scheme of things.

dejavú all over again. i see AR ripping our secondary apart. & our d line getting constantly blocked held.

FIFY.

What's the over/under on when AR throws his first incomplete pass? I'm going with 3 minutes left in the half.
