the packers rushed for 74 yards in the 4th quarter.....how is that even possible. as usual we gave up our customery 30+ yard run. and we gave up a 39 TD pass on a 4th down. they had 123 total yards in teh 4th....

sorry, our offense isn't clutch. our defense isn't clutch. out coaches aren't clutch. this team isn't clutch.

when you get an opponent, struggling, with injuries, then you put the dagger in and end them. but we played down to their level. this team is not capable of winning anything. its not an over reaction after a loss. been saying it in preseason.

for the Dak haters, Dak will be gone. and this trend of this team sucking will continue. its not going to change. this franchise is gaining value, the most valuable franchise in the WORLD and yet, we accomplish nothing.

tell me why Jerry/Stephen should change the way they run the team if I become more valuable every day?
And I was laughed at when I was upset we didnt go after Bobby Wagner in the off-season. Paying Jaylon Smith more money than Wagner makes to not play for us.

Let that sink in.

Good teams hated playing us in 2016. Pretty much ever since good teams be licking their chops. We are easily pushed around on defense and teams sit back and dare Dak to throw knowing that he will not take off and run.

This!! sorry, our offense isn't clutch. our defense isn't clutch. out coaches aren't clutch. this team isn't clutch. There is no Emmit Smith, Roger Staubach, Tom Landry "clutchness" in this organization. Fraud ownership, leadership throughout and I only see a speck of passion in #11 and #70.

Only 74 yards? It seemed like 200 just in that quarter the way each run ripped a little of my soul out...

Ok, we get it but may I dare to ask what our offense did in the 4th Q and overtime as they even won the coin toss?

It's easy to play off the run defense during wins, and come out in the media and say all the right things about getting it fixed. You take a loss like this and you start to see things actually change.

I thought the quote from Parsons last night about guys staying in their gaps and not doing their own thing was pretty telling, and holds a lot of truth. Lots of posters in recent weeks have expressed concern about the Cowboys defenders being too focused on the pass rush and end up basically taking themselves out of the play vs runs. The mentality of this defense from the first few weeks of the season seems to have inflated the egos a bit and when that happens a game like what we just saw can be necessary.

I'm sure Parsons isnt going to just come out and say something like that without that message being brought up in practice and the film room constantly. I have to assume this is the messaging coming from DQ all week, and now we see if DQ can earn all the praise that he has been giving up to this point. Coming off a bad loss with another huge opponent next week I guarantee he has the attention of his defense that has been embarrassed. Time for the messaging to hit home for these guys, and it's time to start seeing better results.

I know everyone is still low on the Cowboys and predicting the Vikings to blow them out of the water next week, but I have a feeling this team responds. If not we are in a lot of trouble.

Good post........100%
I agree it's likely coaches know exactly what/where the problems and is likely pounding during the week. My problem if the same players are not listening or making the same mistakes, why are their _____ sitting on the sideline for a quarter or two?

While I agree 1000% with the bolded part that is the toughest piece to coaching at the professional level. Trying to tell someone what to do who makes double your salary doesn't work in any other profession. Factor in you have an owner/gm who paid these guys, many of which with the input of DQ and it gets tricky. It works for guys like Belichick, but many who have tried to replicate the Belichick coaching models have failed hard with the modern day athlete.

Because I think there replacements are worse than them.

They didn't do anything.

But unlike you I don't have an agenda. I see the problems.....and defense is a problem. And offense is a problem.

We've known for years we can't stop the run.
We've known for years that when we run the ball more and well, we win.

Best thing to do is not change anything and pass 50 times per game.

were going to lose a lot of games if the defense can’t hold a 14 point lead with 10 minutes to go.

Running the ball more and doing it well are 2 different things.
