I mean figure out the logic here as they comparing Dak 60 million $ highest paid player in the NFL to Rush and Lance.
If I was DAK I would be insulted.
Dak should be compared to Mahomes, Allen, Hurts, and any QB making over 55 million at least.

I don't disagree. I have been advocating for us to spend a top 4 pick on a QB every three years. but we are where we are.

with that said, Mahomes is generational. everyone points to Mahomes as if the elite QBs just fall off a tree. they don't. and you need top 5, top 10 picks to have better chance. with that said, even in that draft there were many, including a few on this board who thought Mahomes was a system QB and wouldn't succeed in NFL. so everyone has a crystal ball, show up 5 years later and say we should have gotten mahomes...

there hasn't been any mahomes since mahomes. they are a few good QBs, but nobody elite.

this doesn't mean we shouldn't draft one, but that's Jerry jones for you. he build a half baked team, so he has to spend prime draft picks addressing needs because he thinks we are close.

History says you’re wrong. All this statistics prove he’s a top quarterback. If he was on a better team, he would have a ring. I believe if Mahomes was on this squad, he’d probably look like Cooper Rush.

Mahomes is on the extreme end. What about Goff or Jayden Daniels. Those guys are doing well. Look at Jordan Love or Josh Allen or even a Joe Burrow. They have got to do something or they will never get past the first round of the playoffs no matter the team around Dak. I've never seen a QB go from serviceable to trash Everytime he meets a good team. Those other QBs I mention may not have a ring but they are capable of beating other good teams.

DEC Prescott needs too much around him to succeed. He has nothing around him and he’s lucky to win three games. If Cooper Rush doesn’t prove how bad this team is. We are blessed to have Prescott. I don’t think another quarterback could survive with Jerry.

not ready to give Daniels anything yet. as Parcells used to say put the annointing oil away.
I do like Goff, in fact I was hoping for us to trade up to draft him, but we ended up with Zeke!!!! go figure.

Love hasn't accomplished anything yet. one year and he is 1-1 in playoffs, but he hadn't had a chance neither behind rodgers. so again put the annointing oil away.
I like Burrow, but not sure what's going on with Cinci. I thought he was elite before he came out. he was consensus #1 pick.
Allen is an enigma. cannon for an arm, yet he has failed, except for that covid season. since then he is 3-3 and can't get over the hump....not sure what's with him

and I do like all of those guys.

but then there is Lawrence, Herbert, Young, Levis, Richardson, Pickett, Wilson, Lance, Fields, Jones, Murray, Jones, Haskins, Mayfield, Darnold, Rosen

not saying, the list you have is a bad group. but they all need a strong team around them and without it they all have struggled, except for Mahomes.

You’re a stat guy who appreciates a QB who racks up the stats and W’s against dregs and chokes against the best teams religiously and loves to pad the stats come garbage time.
