In 2015, the Patriots are what the Cowboys used to be. They are the bullies. They have the sweet prime-time TV slots and the billionaire owner who needs to be noticed and loved at all times. They have the smartest coach with his signature piece of clothing (the Landry fedora yields to the Belichick hoodie). They have appeared in an NFL-high eight Super Bowls (a record they share with the Cowboys and Steelers). They are the envy of all other franchises. And they are hated almost everywhere outside of their own region.

It’s amazing how anticipation for this game has changed since the NFL schedule came out last spring. For a long time we thought this was going to be a tough game for New England. It looked like it might be Tony Romo vs. Jimmy Garoppolo at quarterback. Playing on the road, without Tom Brady, figured to make the Patriots vulnerable.

There's not much to say or do when you realize you're up against possibly the most primo team in the league at this time. The Pats are the reigning NFL champs that are obviously proud, cocky and bold enough to be strutting around like the proud gladiators that they are.

Their fans are a boisterous bunch that are acting every bit as arrogant and over confident as the Cowboys were once perceived to be by other teams. It's almost impossible not to be somewhat resentful, jealous and also irritated by their fans' demeanor but it's what usually accompanies the winning posture that the champs enjoy.

It's easy for a team to be proud, cocky and arrogant when you can continuously get away with cheating with only a slap on the wrist.

I have watched their games and they have flaws like all teams, they just seem to make less mistakes and have a dominant pass catcher in Gronk and a delivery system in Brady that is very consistent. We on the other hand...we are waiting on ours to get out of the shop. We will still bring the pressure to them up the middle and hopefully hold on to our interceptions and fumbles.

It's all true with Belichick as HC and Brady as QB the Patriots are 163-47 in the regular season and 21-8 in the playoffs and 4-2 in Super Bowls.

Tom Brady has played in 13 NFL seasons and in 9 of them the Patriots have gone to the AFC Championship game and the Super Bowl in 6 of those, almost half of his seasons he's been to the Super Bowl and 3/4 of the time to the AFCCG.

It is not rocket science

It is called

Discipline
Accountability
Execution
Focus
Know your assignments

Their HC and QB don't accept anything less

If you don't, you won't play
No coddling

Our HC can learn a LOT from them

The narrative for this game would be so different if Romo was playing.

I'm not at all interested in listening to NE's arrogant fans or media.

Yeah because the Cowboys and Romo have a history of winning big games, oh wait they don't that's Brady and Belichick.

When I said "I'm not at all interested in listening to NE's arrogant fans", I meant people like you. Move along.

I'm not even going to entertain your shtick.

Yeah, because Brady and Belichick have a history of winning anything at all without the benefit of an unfair advantage. Oh wait, they don't.

QB driven league and despite what the fans will say they hit the lottery with Brady similar to what we did with Romo. In many positions they are not close to our talent level.

Because Garrett and Romo do?

If Romo and Dez were both playing, none of that would matter. NE would be worried rolling into the Death Star!

Did Bellichick also "hit the lottery" the year Brady got hurt and NE he won 11 games with a QB that had never played in the NFL before ?

BB cuts corners and cheats but in terms of the NFL he is playing chess and Garrett is still learning checkers
They're not in the same league
