Cowboys won. Even more impressive was the wherewithal and mental toughness to shake it off and play lights out. We essentially held one of the leagues best offenses to 10 points less a fluke albeit well designed.

Outside of that one play he gave up 10 points to one of the top offenses...just saying maybe he should get some credit for that

The defensive plan on that play is standard on hail mary plays. That doesn't bother me. What bothers me is how we were a deer frozen in the headlights when they decided to not throw the hail mary. Pathetic.

It was 6 Cowboys vs 3 Chiefs. Sometimes, players just have to make a play

Andy Reid is just far and away better then anything we have .
Yes!

Nevermind the fact that we dominated his team today.

And never mind the fact that he has been a head coach in this league for 17 years and hasn’t won a Super Bowl.

The guy is a genius!

Yup.

All they had to do was go after the ball carrier. Instead they allowed 2 players to block out 6 of them.

But the main point is that every team in the league, even the precious Patriots and Steelers play that the same way. The Patriots will even bring Gronk out to make sure they don't get beat on a hail mary.

I'm sorry it's going to be a rough few weeks with zeke being suspended and potential Dez and Terrance injuries but this thread is gold. Thanks guys!

Exactly. Two guarantees.
  1. You will see that play run again in lots of games.
  2. You won’t see it work on Cowboys again...they will learn. It’s like attacking a screen or the old wedge kick return. Some guys have to attack the blockers hard, like gunners, and take them out early. Then others close for tackle. All those DBs just kept giving ground, circling the wagons to protect the end zone. They allowed the blockers way too deep before any contact. They didn’t know how to approach it.
However, I love the way our defense and secondary played today!
