First off, he was still hurt, and second, that's the most nerdy and ridiculous made-up stat nonsense imaginable.

I miss the days when football was really only for the cool kids. Fantasy football ruined the game.
If you're a meat-and-potatoes, volume stat guy, I've got some more for you.

MG was the starting #2 and only broke 50 yards in one game. Noah Brown did it in 6 games.

Brown had more catches, more yards, a higher YPC average, and is playing for $2M next season.

Now do the previous year when Gallup was healthy.

Healthy like he was supposed to be going into last season? Like when we salary-dumped Cooper because we were good at WR?

MG is a middle of the road athlete as far as NFL wideouts to go, and doesn't have a step to lose. Last year he lost that, and by any metric you want to use, he was a waiver wire level player.

Our hope is that he's got that step back this year. Our most recent evidence is that he's washed.

Dalton Shultz, I know he is gone and I couldn't be happier. The guy was a good receiver but killed our run game.

And I disagree so there's that.. I don't think he has been terrible as a three tech regardless of how they've been using him he been coming back off injuries more than a few times and it's affected his play and I don't think he's as bad as most people are making him out to be if he plays for the veteran minimum why shouldn't he be on this team remember that guy Malik Collins nobody wanted here did you see the contract he just got? He was talked about much in the same way and yet he goes to another team does well enough to get a nice big contract. Sometimes fans wanna believe what they think they see with their eyes and they really don't have a lot of football knowledge I think when he is healthy I've seen gallimore do pretty well and while he may not make the roster because of the numbers game I still think he has a shot because I think that if he stays at three tech if he can stay healthy I still think he has something to offer...
So who do you blame for the poor run defense up the middle?

Cooper wanted out of here. He was done with Dak and just mailing it in.

Gallup had no vertical and no explosion last year. He wasn't ready. Looked like a different player.

He was 116th out of 121 in average separation among WRs last year, per NFL Next Gen stats.
Oh good grief. Really? He shouldn't have even been playing. We know he wasn't healthy. We know he wasn't ready. So what do those stats really mean? NOTHING. I don't care if he was 121th out of 121.

It's almost like certain people have no clue how excruciating rehabilitation
can be from a major knee surgery. It takes 18 months to get back to some
version of normalcy again as an athlete. Dude deserves more respect from
the fan base.

I'll go first.
Michael Gallup.
He acts like a made guy but I would rather roll the dice with some of the other young WRs if it comes down to a roster spot.
Who's the player (other than Dak - let's keep it clean) that you would not hesitate to kick to the curb?
Bounteous greetings to you.
Dear boy, one of the three WRs will see the ball less (Gallup) and tha is the biggest challenge to him. It is up to the good chap to accept No. 3 with TD runs to intersperse the season.

Apparently it's all the above coaching players etcetera it wasn't just one player I believe having hankins going in and out over injuries same with big bo it's a work in progress much like safety was they're trying to find the right combination... Trying to blame one player is the same as coming in here and I'm getting tired of hearing how the quarterbacks not getting us to a championship seriously one player that's it that that's all that we're missing is a player no again it took a while for us to find the right safeties and now we have a good safety group they're gonna try to work with combinations up the middle to try to find the best one.. As a fan I'm not sure why you're trying to figure out what the heck is wrong the coaches will get it right eventually... That's why they drafted mazi and they're hoping bo takes a step to go one more year with hankins.. But yes a nose tackle would be the issue and I'm trying to tell you gallimore is not a nose tackle he's never been a one tech he probably may not make the team but it wasn't because we drafted mazi..
