Diggs. That playoff game showed me all I needed to know. Why on earth would you extend such a soft player who doesn’t show up in the big games.

The best return man we’ve had in yearssssss.
It's fascinating to me that more don't see that. They got caught up in that "second coming of Devon Hester" hype after he returned 2 kicks for TDs in preseason and never let go. I said it then that the NFL is a big step up from the USFL and he'd be lucky to take 2 to the house during the regular season but I'd settle for him flipping the field a few times which he did.

Agreed. And I don’t think people realize how much football he played last year. He didn’t have a break. I expect an even better year. People want Vaughn to take his spot his spot is solidified and he’s gonna have a bigger role in the passing game in this offense. Can’t wait.

Before he tore up his knee, he was looking great. Last year was the comeback year, this year he should return to form. Which is a 900-1100 yd WR. I honestly don't get why people are down on him.
Ignance..

Hello?!?! Anybody home?

I could care less about what Gallup did in 2020. What has he done lately?

And yes I'll say this...who right this moment has bigger upside? Right now, Jalen Brooks is showing more promise for the future and even if Gallup is slightly better overall, I can probably get 80% of Gallup's productivity for one-tenth of the money.
I like Gallup and Brooks. Stop with you false dilemma nonsense.

Liked him when he was drafted. And Cropper before he was drafted.

He was headed for a 900 yd season before he tore up his knee in 21.

Brooks? You think Brooks is better than Gallup? That is too crazy to call crazy. Brooks is big, and that's it. He lacks the traits to play at an NFL level.
What makes you think that?

He's playing at the NFL level in practice.

Tyron Smith, is good for about the first 4 weeks and than something happens and you hear he's not practicing but he's still gonna play. Thanks after 4 more weeks we hear he is a injured knee or neck or whatever and he start getting holding penalties. He is a shell of the player he was 5 years ago. Just kick him to the curb and move on.

Tolbert could make most rosters. No one is going to have a WR5 or WR6 better than him.
Tolbert couldn't even make the cowboys roster last year. He was a healthy scratch for 9 games. He is only on our roster b/c we wasted a decent draft pick on him.

Apparently it's all the above coaching players etcetera it wasn't just one player I believe having hankins going in and out over injuries same with big bo it's a work in progress much like safety was they're trying to find the right combination... Trying to blame one player is the same as coming in here and I'm getting tired of hearing how the quarterbacks not getting us to a championship seriously one player that's it that that's all that we're missing is a player no again it took a while for us to find the right safeties and now we have a good safety group they're gonna try to work with combinations up the middle to try to find the best one.. As a fan I'm not sure why you're trying to figure out what the heck is wrong the coaches will get it right eventually... That's why they drafted mazi and they're hoping bo takes a step to go one more year with hankins.. But yes a nose tackle would be the issue and I'm trying to tell you gallimore is not a nose tackle he's never been a one tech he probably may not make the team but it wasn't because we drafted mazi..
Certainly and when Hankins was not here it was Gallimore playing tackle. Gallimore was healthy this past season and he played very poorly. Osa was inconsistent as did the DE not named Tank or Micah but Gallimore was far and away the worst run defender that got regular snaps.

He has never provided any pass rush.

He is a marginal player at best.

Fehoko is at the risk , they may go rookie route if there is parity.
We really need a proven vet to back up our top 3 b/c the odds of all 3 making it through the season healthy isn't good. We don't need a super star. There are a lot of unsigned guys who would be upgrades over Fehoko and Tolbert. I'm looking at Jarvis Landry or Kenny Golliday. Heck, bring back TY.

So short sighted. Tolbert will be much improved this year. Will he ever be a 1 or 2,TBD. But hes definitely going to show a reason to make this roster.

Last year I would have said Zeke. I just hadn’t seen anything remotely resembling special in 3 years…

This year, it’s Tyron Smith. I just don’t get it. He’s injured all the time and has become a declining liability as a tackle even when he is healthy. I don’t know why in the world you would rest any hope on him. I think we’ve just repeated the phrase “he’s a top 5 tackle when he’s healthy” for so many years, we just never stopped drinking our rationalization kool-aid. Hope he proves me wrong, but Parsons has made him look like a rookie again in TC.

It's preseason.

I mean haven't we learned already to not put a ton of stock in preseason practice reports where JAGs end up looking good, people get all giddy and then we rarely hear from them again?

OSA is one of out best players and plays 3t but keep over Focusing on one player. I dont care if NG makes the team but hes not the 1t not NT and that not why they drafted Mazi..mazi is hankins replacement of the future and BO is his backup. all tackles, yes but very different roles jeez

we will see Osa and Mazi next to each other a lot. again, NG spot more like taken by Fehoko or Gholstion, thats the possible plan.

Has he? How would we know?

Lack of burst. And speed. Speed is not everything, but burst and agility are everything. Looks like a backup type.
