The problems are real; not in our heads.

OMG, what the hell, did the regular season start, because this is getting ridiculous. Some of you people are morons. Its preseason, damn.

Tell that to Austin's knee.

Self respect is most important.

And you respect yourself??!? You must have some really low standards...

And no friends...

Son, if I was anything like you, I'd hate how negative I was ALL THE FREAKIN' TIME... show you a silver lining, and you won't be happy until you find the cloud...

i am who i am.

Unfortunately... do the initials PITA mean anything to you?? :D

Not just that, but what if the hokie pokie is really what IT'S ALL about?

It really is... been that way for years...

The government has known it since at least the 50s, but they've kept it from all of us...

My all time favorite, I saw on the bumper of my brother's inlaws' car:

"Yes, As a Matter Of Fact, I DO Own the Whole D*mn Road"

Slice it up any way you like it; but without a solid offensive ball control game plan, you'll see many good looking drives fall short.

That must be why we were third in total offense last year, and why we averaged over 28 a game...

This team has become a passing team, and they only run to keep the defense honest.

This team will be more of a running team than they were last year... that's why Hudson Houck was brought in...

And don't look now, but they're averaging 4.3 yards per carry thus far in preseason...

Tell us about your coaching experience

Better still, ask him about how he called Jerry Jones, was patched directly through to his office, and helped him realize that the Cowboys were not utilizing the middle of the field in the passing game...

Again, I kid you not...

HAS TO BE A JOKE

Silverbear is the biggest troll on any board he goes on. He repeatedly posts and bashes people of his choosing.

I'm surprised that he's not been banned for his behavior. He should be, but apparently he kisses up to the mods, and only bashes those who he knows he can get by with doing it to.

He is the worst troll I have ever come across; and if he comes into a thread, he'll hijack it with post after post to try and destroy the topic. It usually works, too.

I can't believe he's allowed to roost here.

leeblair,

Julius Jones or Marion Barber? Who's the better RB?

(Folks, you'll love this... it was a SMASH hit over at The Ranch!!!)

Last year the Boys started 2-0 in the preseason and finished 2-2. Started 11-1 in the regular season before ending 13-3 and bounced out of the playoffs.

Now we're 0-2 in the preseason, and instead of saying 'you know, maybe Read fixed the special teams' after the Broncos game, we spend our time moaning about how we didn't dominate the Broncos.

It ain't how you start, it's how you finish. I'd rather the Cowboys go 9-7 this year and win a couple (preferably four) playoff games than 15-1 and lose in the first round.

Sorry
I've been unconscious in the back yard and am just now catching up. Seems the sky fell and hit me on the head.

I could give a hoot about our win losses in the pre-season but how we progress as we play. There is one tangible performing game in the preseason and that usually is the third game which is a dress rehearsal for the regular season.

My concern about our team remains too many penalties and too many players performing inconsistently. A lot of that falls on the coaching not just the players. If we tighten things up on defense, offense and particularly special teams I will even more positively look forward to the regular season.

Anyone concerned about one dimensional scheming or overscheming should have their head examined. It is about evaluating players, even refining positions and fundamentally working out the kinks on defense, offense and special teams by controlled playing against competition. Winning is always welcomed, but truly icing on the cake.
