The "True" Dallas Pre Season

Only during the 3 hours I sit in the stands each of the last 12 seasons and say to myself it'll be okay...there's always next year.

But, why give yourself a freakng heart attack about the team when you can do NOTHING about it....

Is a tire track some kind of bayou backwoods LA joke that I just am not getting? It might make the CSI crack a little more understandable to those (like me) who obviously are not as quick on the upside as a scholar such as you obviously are.

I don't really care if you were a member, but was pointing out that your assumption about the New Orleans game was not accurate for the great majority of the posters on here. The board melted down that night.

Listen, I'm not trying to fight with you (even though my previous post might have indicated otherwise). Your response was a little annoying and maybe I jumped a little too hard. My very first post in this thread was simply that it was only the first practice. You are certainly entitled to your opinion on the subject, but it is too early for the majority of the posters on here to start with the negatives after one day of practice. No one knows how the season is going to shape up after one day.

We've all been sitting around with a bad taste in our mouths after the whippin that we were handed at the end of last season, but a lot of people, such as myself, enjoy every aspect of the season from training camp through the Superbowl. I am just not interested in tainting the experience from the getgo until there is a real tangible reason for me to do so. The body of work at the moment does not provide that tangible evidence to me. I guess that is where we just disagree.

Close but no cigar. He's entitled to be proud of his creation, but he crossed the line when he repeatedly cited it as a competitive advantage. Most reasonable-minded people find this fatuous.

It's 2009. Jerry Jones bought the team in 1989. Twenty years, bbgun. The fact is that most people period learned and concluded that Jerry Jones can sometimes be quite fatuous many many MANY moons ago. Why that tidbit continually amazes some, I do not know.

Thanks for proving my point. Forgive and forget (but mostly forget). A lot more people contributed to that catastrophe than TO, Pac and Tank--and they're still on the roster or wearing a headset.

Many of the remaining factions may become a better fit. Perhaps they will not. One thing's for certain. No one will know for certain until the team proves whether or not the remaining parts enhance or subtract from the whole.

You're excited about the season; he's not. The difference is that you don't get jumped on by a thousand rabid dogs.

I've been excited about the start of every single Cowboys season since 1975. No exceptions. So, I'm not going to even try to debate that unquestionable truth. What can I say? I'm a Cowboys fan. :

I know your not trying to fight with me...I love that people disagree on these things...that's what makes it fun. Don't worry about ever insulting me. I spent 5 years teaching HS, and 5 years coaching college baseball...that gives me 10 years around the meanest SOBs out there. I won't ever be offended by a web posting.
