I want to see Rush and this team against the Rams. Woudn't expect a win, but wouldn't rule it out. Stafford is a bit of a sitting duck, and those deep routes would be tough for them with so little time to throw. Nothing seems to get Rush rattled, so it would be an interesting game.

I'm actually curious to see our defense against the Ram. They have one of those blocking schemes that has traditionally allowed them to run all over us. Lets see if Quinn has something for them this time.

The offense will certainly need to put up more like 30 points against those two teams in order to secure victory. But let's take this one game at a time. Next........the Commodores, without Lionel Richie. Whip it....whip it good.

I know everybody's excited and looking to buy playoff tickets right now but you better beat the Wentzes on Sunday with those two next on deck.

And that will be a bit of a desperate team after losing their last two.

You combine that with the return of Prescott (we're merely in remission now) and things might not be so jovial around here in a few weeks.

I know. I'm just saying.

Cowboys!
Prescott's last stand will occur upon his return.
It will be quick and decisive as no way he stands up to the pressure cooker that Jerry and fans have built around him now.
Ya, there's a smell in the Air and it's coming from # 4 direction!!!

Our defense can hang in there with the Rams and Rush can provide enough of a passing attack to keep the running game successful.
A win wouldn't surprise me if Rush is starting in the game.

Well I refuse to give up until eagles prove they are not just fools gold again.

But my god ...... If Rush beats the Superbowl champs ...... The poop gonna hit the fan around the Star.

The Rams arent exactly looking like world beaters right now. Dont judge teams based upon last year.

I look forward to challenges, I welcome matchup with Rams and Eagles.
Yeah I am wondering how our D will look against the Eagles. We handled them well last year. AJ Brown is a difference maker. Gonna have to score over 25 to win.

I think it’s fascinating that many of the same people who hate Dak Prescott believe Jalen Hurts is somehow a good NFL starting QB.

Just goes to show how few people really understand what they’re watching when they turn a football game on.

Are you out of your mind? Have you watched any of the Iggles games?

I would be surprised in Eagles can put up many points on this defense. Cowboys are showing good play in all 3 levels, DL is bringing heat without having to blitz, good speed at LB and solid coverage by the secondary.

Nobody of reason thinks Jalen Hurts is a good NFL quarterback.

They're both ultra-limited with no real quarterback talent to speak of beyond just run-of-the-mill ability.

This game certainly eludes you though. That goes without saying at this point.

So let’s just forfeit and not play the games. Great attitude. What’s to say our defense doesn’t rise up and create the blue print to beat the Eagles and Rams?! How about we play Washington , then take it from there?

They've played no one, and it's September.

Philly's schedule is easy now and tougher later. Dallas' is the opposite.

Hurts was awful against the Cowboys last year, and that was only against a semi-decent defense. Judgment day is headed his way.

Jalen Hurts has an entire offense designed around hiding his inability to stand in the pocket and read a defense. Dak Prescott is one of the highest rated active QBs when attempting many downfield passing concepts.

For example, Jalen Hurts career QB rating is nearly 25 points lower on throws from the pocket more than 20 yards downfield than Dak’s. And that just a rough aggregate, the numbers get even more striking on a concept by concept basis.

Prescott has forgotten more about throwing a football than Hurts will ever know.

I’ve watched all three of their games in part or in full. They’ve accumulated lots of skill position talent and designed an offense entirely around hiding his glaring deficiencies. And eventually those offenses always get eaten up by good NFL defenses/DCs. You’re already seeing the beginnings of it, with the last two defenses shutting him out in the second half and cutting his QBR nearly in half.

The easiest way to explain their passing offense without diving deep into Xs and Os is that it gives Hurts targets in predetermined spots that require him only to see if those one or two players are open and if not run it or get rid of it. He’s not being asked to read a defense in any classic sense.

A reminder that the Eagles for the last 2 weeks, started off hot on offense in the first half. But got completely shut out in the 2nd half. Which resulted in them scoring only 24 points against the Vikings and Commanders. Even though some believe them to be one of, if not the best offensive roster in the NFC. And the Cowboys with a backup QB and injured players out, got 23 points.

So we'll see if the Eagles can sustain what they are doing, especially if they are going to have a problem with playing consistently on offense for 4 quarters.

This defense when Micah is on the field is just different. If you single block him he’s a menace… last night they focused on him and it opened up things for everyone else.

When you can rush four and get pressure like that it’s a huge luxury.

Haven't watched the Rams since their opener loss to the Bills but Stafford's o line was really poor in that one.

So far Philly looks strong on both sides of the ball but I think ex Philly coach Pederson and a coached up Trevor Lawrence will be a good challenge for the Eagles.
If not a possible upset.
