I'm not trying to start a pissing match over the Reeves issue, but something went down and Jerry is the reason Reeves isn't here. I believe this because when Jerry wants something, especially someone who wanted to be here, he'll go to hell and high water to get it (unless his ego has to take a back seat-IMO).

I don't know whether Reeves would have made a positive difference or not, but it's my belief that for whatever reason, Jerry kept it from occurring.

Because Jerry is the one fixture that has remained for the last 20 years and he makes the final decision to hire, fire and acquire. Maybe he isn't the reason, but nothing else makes any sense to me.

Most fans aren't going to appreciate Jerry Jones until he is long gone.

I guarantee you the first losing stretch the next owner has, alot of these same fans will be wishing Jerry Jones was back.

Not solely, no one ever is. I will never stop singing Jerrys praises for bringing in Jimmy and letting him coach as well as bring in his coaches and make the vast majority of personnel decisions.

If Jerry finds another coach and empowers him to be the best coach he can be, then I will praise him to no end.

I wish that was good enough for his ego, but I suspect it's not

I forgot but who signs the checks,,,,, 19 months ago we were 13-3, with the same coach, QB RB, TE, OL, S, CB, DT, LB and we lost in the Playoffs I guess we blame Jerry, if we win he gets no credit if we lose he takes a beating....

My only thing with Jerry is he needs to hire a real coach, not a coach like Wade who was told to bench his startng QB Flutie for Rob Johnson, after flutie took the team to the playoffs but Johnson starts in the playoffs in lose,, right their I knew he was a yes man..

What I notice about JJ is that he wants credit for assembling this team and Jimmy gave him none. JJ wants to win bad but he wants to do it with a no name coach so we can see his face on the sidelines..

I wouldn't trade JJ for no other owner but he does need to hire a real coach..... and maybe a GM but that will never happen, period....

If so, he should be fired as well (Cincinatti comes to mind and I believe they are the only team that has gone without a playoff win longer than us)

Well, that has been half the problem, if not more. Since Jimmy left, Parcells is the only quality HC Jerry hired. Unfortunately he was on the downside of his career.

Ok anyone remember when Wade said things had to change?

Well remember when Wade wanted to get Dan Reeves on his staff and during negotiations the deal fell apart because Jerry wanted to layout a minimum set of hours Reeves had to work during the week in his contract?

Already Wade was handicapped by Jones as far trying to run this team. Nobody can sit here and say that Reeves coming in would not have made a difference in this team. The guy is well respected and has the resume to turn this team around.

Do you seen now? Wade tried to bring in someone that would help this team tremendously and then Jones comes in and screws it up by insulting the guy with a contract that states he must work XX amount hours per week.

It doesn't matter what coach we bring after Wade because Jones is gonna handcuff him anyways and continue to produce an underachieving team until he decides to get off his high horse and let a real football guy run the show.

I was not aware that Dan Reeves coaches defense, because it looks to me that is the main problem with this team. Our offense under Garrett is putting up 30+ points a game and the defense is ranked 30th in the league with 0 sacks and 0 picks going into week 3. We are giving up over 450+ yards a game.

So unless Dan Reeves coaches defense I really dont see how he would help the situation right now.
