The clock management would have been alright except for the holding penalty. Without the hold we give them the ball with around 20 seconds on the clock. That should be able to hold up with as little as a 3 point lead.

The defense has excuses for its bad play against competent offenses. The defense did help the offense today. The defense also gave up 2 games worth of offense today. The defense also gave up 31 points, 24 of them in the last 15 minutes of the game. The defense deserves the lions share of the blame for the loss today.

That is the truth, but the defense is just terrible. Yes, they're producing turnovers, but they're also getting shredded when they don't get a turnover. Coaching is the biggest problem with this team and after four seasons, I don't see how anyone could not realize this fact.

This loss was on the D in the end. They gave up over 600 YARDS! 329 to megatron. And yet some here think that was good enough to win a game

In today's game what the defense did was more than "good" enough to win. This team lost because the offense #1 couldn't capitalize on turnovers and #2 couldn't put the game away with just over two minutes left. Believe it or not there is such a thing as stamina and this defense was on the field 35 minutes mostly because our offense can not sustain long drives. This defense has also been devastated by injuries this year so what is the excuse for the offense?

My blame meter goes 50 defense, 40 Jason Garrett, 10 offense. Would have liked to have had DeMarco Murray pounding the rock on that last drive, too. Let's not forget he's a heck of a better back than Randle or Tanner.

Yeah now that I'm calming down that hold really was THE play of the game. Second to that was allowing that 45 yard sideline completion near end of game where Scandrick did nothing

Coaching is the biggest reason why were losing these games... Ive seen enough of Garrett and Im ready to say hes not good enough, HC at least.

Then our defense, Im pleased with TO, but please remember that our O, and not playing that great, extended our lead from 3 to 10 points TWICE in the fourth Qr, and extended yet again to six points, with 1 min to play... The reason why weve lost this game? Coaching and because we couldnt stop em from scoring all those times again and again.

So, Romo not only is supposed to score points, which he did again today, he's supposed to play defense & keep the opponents from driving 80 yards for the go ahead TD...OKAAAYYYY. With as many threads as you've posted, I would think you had better football sense than this post indicates. Romo has thrown for more yards in his first 100 games than anyone...in history! You don't think having poor to mediocre defenses on this team are just a little responsible for his not being more successful?

Lol at some of you trying to pin the lost on one situation. Only unit that played good was ST. O and D sucked. Including running game/blocking/passing/play calling. Not one persons fault. Sean Lee balled but i didnt matter because Carr basically played for them today. Dline sucked. pathetic attempt at tackling. How can you not play both units? . .
