The real problem with Dallas is Romo

Before I get started I'm a big Romo supporter and have liked Garrett for some things but not all.

Splitting up Witten and Romo could benefit this team. I see teams with less talent do better.

.

Witten has been targeted half as much, especially lately. The problems lie elsewhere.

This loss was on defense.

I would love to blame Romo for only scoring 3 pts at end of game. But I wont.

The defense needs to secure the game.

Romo played like doodoo for three quarters today and hasnt been all that impressive this season Outside of the Broncos and Rams games.

He is in fact part of the problem. He is not performing like a $100 million qb.

And this coming from someone that always defended him. We need radical change in this orginization this core isnt going to win squat.

He performed in the 4th QTR. 2 touchdowns, no turnovers, twice giving a two score lead. He made it happen in the quarter that counts the most today. The people who want him to be a bus driver, that's fine, but he needs a run game and defense that doesn't give up a billion yards a week in order to be that bus driver.

The did for 3 quarters. They did even when the offense decided to do nothing on the second to last possession, instead of trying to win. Seriously First Down = GG.

Sorry, 24 points in 4 quarter.

I am a Romo supporter and very critical of him at the same time but if you blame him you are foolish.

I think we have come to realize what this defense is: gets some turnovers, gives up tons of yards, cant make a critical stop.

Now the offense: Someone has to figure out why they cant have any consistency. We hear about how great the QB is, how super Dez is, how Garrett is a great offensive mind...yet..the offense cannot sustain drives and cannot get that one big first down when necessary. Look at the RB;s in New England. Dont tell me that you need a stud RB to win. There are some deep problems with this team on offense. And Garrett might not be the guy that can right the ship.

The 4th down stop was a critical stop but as usual the offense can't put the game away, the Denver game was a fluke because more often than not the offense plays like they did against SD & Washington.

If not for Romo, Jason Garrett would have a championship coaching.

Said no one ever.

I agree but all quarters count. 7 points off 4 turnovers isnt getting it done. Its obvious he isnt playing his best football.

But I will concede we have a long list of problems and romo is just one of many.

Romo was AWFUL today, how you can say he is not at fault?

Because he threw 3 TDs with no INTS

Because he led two 4th quarter drives that both gave the team 10 point leads

Because he doesn't play defense and give up 600 yards to the other team and 300 to one player

Because he is not the HC who sat on the lead the last two possessions with a lousy defense

Anytime an offense scores 30 or more points and the QB has 3 touchdown passes and is turnover-free, it's pretty safe to say the defense is to blame. The Lions went 80 yards in 50 seconds to win the game. I really want to know how this is Romo's fault.

I'm a big fan of Romo and never blamed him for this lost. People read please. I want talking about this game today. I'm talking about this whole Garrett era.

That's the dang problem with you Cowboys fans. Each game is something new to complain about. This week w lost cause of defense, last week cause no run game, special teams won the game this week. I started a new thread because it's not about a game it's about many games.

Maybe I misread the title of this thread

Actually, it was a TEAM loss and Romo played a part in that. 2 of his passes were terrific yards after the catch by the WR's. Before that he had only 88 yards the whole game. Romo hasn't played well since the Denver game.
