While I agree. It's most likely going to come down to a drive or two to move on. And Dak has shown consistently, even given very advantageous conditions (3 minutes and 3 time outs) that he doesn't have the skill to do it. Overpaying that much for your most important player really puts a team at a disadvantage. And this team is going to get worse now, not better, barring another Parsons draft pick, which isn't likely to happen. They need a 2-3 year plan to move out from Dak's contract and continue to build the defense.
