we could've had dan marino.
after passing on joe montana.
the draft tide gave us another shot a few years later.
and we pass again.
i loved jim jeffcoat.
but dan marino changes the rest of the decade for us.

This really is incredible.

That and the 89 draft with guys like Aikman, Deion, Barry Sanders, and Derrick Thomas is the other one that I always look back at amazed at how many legacy players were available.
