Broncos Will Intently Pursue Romo
Updated March 1, 2017
By Charlie Campbell. Follow Charlie on Twitter @draftcampbell.

Sources say that new Denver Broncos head coach Vance Joseph has looked at the two young quarterbacks on the Broncos roster and has decided the team needs a veteran signal caller for the immediate future. As a result, sources say Denver plans on pursuing Dallas Cowboys Tony Romo intently.

Joseph wants to win now and Romo could buy them more time to develop 2016 first-round pick Paxton Lynch. Team sources say Broncos general manager John Elway is not pushing Lynch on Joseph, and is agreeable to making a run at Romo.

Romo gets released. Bank on it and get used to it. Thats NFL football. It's sadly the business facts of life. He will not be a Cowboy going on. Clubs will just wait for him to be released. Its no more complicated than that.

Romo is not retiring unless if we trade him to the Browns
He desperately wants to show everyone that the Cowboys made a mistake not playing him last year when he was healthy
He will do anything to play for a contender next year
Yes and its an illusion...

That is not NFL football

other teams don't throw away Probowl QBs to their competitors

that is only Dallas Dumb

*- I guess I forgot about Peyton but he only went to 2 Super Bowls with DEN, not like he did any damage to IND's chances
Really? Probowl? When was that? Tony is finished and lost his job to a College QB. He is a big hero on Cowboy sites....lol...but NFL GM 's don't see him in the same light. He has part of a season left and should take the respectable way out and retire a Cowboy. He will only make a fool of himself..( football wise) by pursuing a lost cause. Everybody has their time.

Colin Cowerd thinks Denver is a bad idea for Romo. Good for Denver but bad for Romo.
http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/gallery/colin-cowherd-tony-romo-denver-broncos-030117

quote..
“It would not be my choice. Denver has a defensive-minded head coach. He is a rookie head coach. Outside of their center, they have a weak offensive line, and that division is tough. Derek Carr twice a year, Kansas City’s loaded roster twice a year, and Philip Rivers has always moved the football on Denver.

"I get Denver wanting Tony, but that’s the toughest division in football, you have a bad offensive line. You have a rookie, defensive head coach, and the November-December weather is rough."
--------------------------------------
He likes Houston much better for Tony and I agree.

Cowherd: Houston is a much better destination for Romo
“If you go to Houston, you get a veteran — not a rookie. A veteran offensive coach. You get a tremendous defensive roster like Denver. You get better offensive receivers, weaker division, you play inside, and you’re playing in nobody’s shadow. There’s no pressure in Houston.

"There’s pressure with John Elway in Denver to win, because they’ve already done it multiple times. And if you don’t win in Denver, you’re a ‘failure.’ Even if you get close in Houston, you’re a success.

"‘Well Colin, Peyton Manning chose Denver!’ It was different. At the time, Oakland was terrible, now they may be the second-best team in the AFC. When Peyton Manning chose Denver, Kansas City was terrible, they were 2-14. Denver had a very good offensive line, not a weak one. And you were replacing Tim Tebow! So your entry point for Peyton Manning was completely different.”

But there are big obstacles in both scenarios

Give me an entire break.....Romo was the league MVP in 2014

He was sharp as a razor this year......if you really don't think Romo is a Probowl QB you don't belong in an adult football conversation

Really..2014...l know you realise this is 2017? Right? Tony's " Big 2014" was founded in a huge year by a Running Back...lol...come on.. Tony was a good QB..nothing more. Now, he is gone. Thankfully for the hope of a future SB.
