Anyone can run behind our oline.

thats what they said !! The jones boys said it, so did many here.
I think more and more they miss murray and callahan, if they had those 2 they would still have a good run gae but they let them go,
so now they have to find a new formula.
With all the injuries piling up, I think there is a domino effect going on.

When will people realize our passing game made our running game last season? This offensive line without Romo at the helm looks pretty pedestrian out there..the best in football they said.

They complimented each other last year. We had a great QB and a very good running back with an great WR. We have none of those guys for the majority of the season. Easy to stop the run when our game plan is conservative and predictable

Eatman was saying Randle was told by Gary Brown and Garrett not to jump the pile like last week and he did it anyway.

Probably to avoid a fumble, nonetheless, he was selfish and did not listen, that is why they were angry at him and he was still defiant.

Garrett should have never burned bridges with Callahan... Guess how the Commanders run game is doing and they also drafted a RB whose getting a lot of carries...

They also don't have a Romo at QB nor a Dez at WR..

Randle hit by 2 guys in the backfield- "He sucks! Why can't he break those tackles every play! Murray did it all the time!"

Michael hit by 2 guys in the backfield- "He was coming in cold. Everyone knew it was coming. It's the OLs fault. No wait, it's the coaches fault."

How about we universally agree that the OL isn't blocking very well or consistently and Linehan is doing them no favors with his predictably.

Bingo.

Randle has been about what i expected. Solid but definitely more of a complimentary RB. DMC looks as stiff as me waking up in the morning, and that aint pretty folks. The problem is a mixture of the OL struggling at times and the injuries to the key skill position players. To expect Michael to come in and magically get different results is not realistic IMO.

Frank Pollack was the guy coaching the OL of the Raiders and saw Dmac haven't his worst year in a zone-blocking system.

He is the guy in charge of the RB now, after Callahan left, and DMac is here...
That should make anybody scratch their heads..

Callahan BUILT our line and it was HIS zone-blocking schemes. Now the proof is in the pudding.

Just watch the Commanders totally dominate the TOP with their running attack with a rookie and a 2nd year guard at a new position. An average QB in Cousins and average WRs.

And one of the telling praises of Callahan coming out of DC is his attention to detail and doing things over and over again until it is right.

We look messy now with our line.

Spin it all you want... The Garrett love fest couldn't attribute anything good to Callahan, because Garett burned bridges with him. Garrett's team is back to its old ways.

Go figure Garrett runs off Bill Calahan an replace him with a JAG Riaders OL coach.

How's that move paying off. ....the Great Wall of Dallas has collapsed under Frank Pollack.

No sense in beating the dead horse, BUT (kick) Murray was a key piece in a very well oiled machine last season. He and this Dallas team were better off together. Randle is simply not there, nor will he be.

I don't think Dallas should trade for anyone because there will not be a good return on investment unless they get a young guy like Lamar Miller.

Joseph Randle 1 carry for 14 yards. Then 10 carries for 12 yards.
Darren McFadden 1 carry for 14 yards. Then 9 carries for 17 yards.

Pathetic.

Plenty of blame to go around. But this tells you that your running game is putting your offense in very difficult 3rd down situation.
Weeden isn't good enough to carry a team with this kind of running game.

We are far from a good team.

It makes no sense that you couldn't find a spot for Collins all off-season. He's definitely one of your five best talents up front. Should've given him reps at right tackle at some point.

But, but our main goal in free agency was to sign a 31 year old tackle who only plays good in a contract year.:thumbup:Mission accomplished!

Like my Randle thread last week, he's still nothing but a complimentary back. He if he jumps over the pile again I would kick him off this team! Notice he didn't play much after that.

Dmac sucks. Plain and simple. Paycheck eater,

Nice pressure on Cmike, putting him in on 3rd and 1, out of nowhere, and then never giving him the ball again, while Dmac is smashing into the rookie LB and looking weak!

And Dunbar, sucks for him, but he never should have taken it out.

But DMC is a physical speedster. His time says so. He can still run a 4.3, just listen to all the DMC backers. They just won't tell you that it takes him 4.3 seconds to get going too!

I think Randle has effectively benched himself. Between that absolute boneheaded play and then being indignant about it afterwards, the idiot side of him has shown its' ugly head once again and I'm convinced that there will be consequences.

Unfortunately, I think that this shell-shocked coaching staff will try to 'fix' things by starting McFadden instead of anything else. And as anyone watching can see, he's obviously no sort of an answer either.

exactly, and right now we cant be as good as last year, but we could be better with better bolder coaching.

Well I dont blame the rb's none of them get enough carries to get going, and blocking has been NVG.
Also teams seem to know when it is a run play, and get to the rb in the backfield , which did not happen at all last year, but now it does quite often.
It all goes back to coaching, game plans, play calling, the playbook, and player utilization.

I think all of this is karma for not resigning Demarco.

Karma for how they treated Callahan.

Murray's karma has him looking like trash with the Eagles and the Eagles losing to the Commanders. DC is loving Callahan right now.

It all started there, and then next was callahan, or maybe he was first, since then it is a domino effect, which led to tony hurt , and OL not as good, run game sputtering etc.
And I know someone will say DM sucks in philly, but he wouldnt suck if he was here. That whole move hurt him and dallas.

Callahan was treated like garbage two years ago, still did his job the next year quietly including bringing it Martin and let Murray and Garrett get all the credit. Garrett doesn't have a clue about OL play and running schemes.

And the Commanders RBs, one of them a rookie, are killing it and their line is playing great. And their head coach Gruden was on the path to Garretr ineptness last year to this.
