I hope you are right.
This would be a steal.
This a Doctor's hand at work and deep seated leadership...

The Cowboys certainly decided they could do with less talent on their roster when they got rid of Amari Cooper, La’el Collins and Connor Williams, among a few other starters and rotational guys. There is a theory called ‘addition by subtraction’. It usually has to do with chemistry and behind-the-scenes things that are hard to discern.

It looks like the Cowboys may be trying something a little different this year.

The whole roster will be forced to be accountable as well as put it on the line for growth. Williams and others will be getting prime time on the carpet in controlled environments.

This summer should be a prime show and where growth all the way into the playoffs is molded!

While I'm not excusing any act it could have been, if it did happen, the term can be applied to simply touching of a sexual part without consent.

As for "celebrity/money", I don't think he had enough of either of those things to think the alleged victim was paid off. I could be mistaken however.
Oh, the innocence...
As to the victim getting paid off there is no indication of such, stout fellow.
But as to others in the case and the football cash culture ....

Look, me fellow fan, there is a culture of celebrity and money in college. AD chaps claim ignorance. Coaches know nothing about nothing.
But ...
The alumni (no affiliation to the colleges) take the cash to families of 4- and 5-star athletes in shopping bags of $5, $10, 20s, no higher as to avoid attention. Judges, mindful of football's hold on the burg's voters, find it easy to wink at some defendants when it comes to criminal complaints.
It happens, just like NFL employees text updates to oddsmakers.
We are not in Arkansas anymore, Otto.

While possibilities exist, without knowledge of wrongdoing, you should accept the possibility that the charges were dropped because the "victim" simply had a change of heart, or the incident didn't happen the way she said.

Not everyone who's charged deserves to be crucified.

With the combination of speed and strength Quinn has to work with, I think all these guys should be productive. We may even see someone have a breakout year like Dante Fowler or rookie Sam Williams. I am excited to see them go to battle.

Overall, we will have to wait and see if everyone can hold up and stay healthy. Grabbing some guys through the draft to help backload the defense, I expect them to be a solid group again and make enough plays to help them win some games.

Nice to see you on board with 2nd chance, AC.
Bro, I'm still cold towards Kelvin Joseph because there was a murder involved, but I'm willing to wait and see what transpires with that case. If the DA feels there is no need to come after Joseph, I will trust the DA and be good with Joseph.

As for Sam Williams, the simple reason everything was dropped against Sam means he is good to be believed/trusted. That happened 2+ years ago, and it has remained a dropped charge case, so Sam Williams is good.

Yeah, after a while, the statute of limitations kicks in and that arrest becomes a moot point.

To me, it doesn't sound like he did anything terribly wrong anyway. Sounds more like a Johnny Depp deal.

Joseph is a shut down corner. I'm really pulling for him. If he's able to play, I think he breaks out this year like Diggs. Maybe won't have the INTs. But he'll be feared in his own way.

Yeah, no. Ware was a super athletic rusher with elite get off and bend. Williams is more of a power rusher.

Actually, he hasn't really played at a really high level of competition for very long at all. I think you're pigeon-holing him a little too much. Williams has finesse and power. His get off is very close to Ware right now. Ware was legit, no doubt. But Williams is also up there in talent. Williams might be the best dline player in the draft when it's all said and done. And his character issues are extremely exaggerated and blown way out of proportion.

We're lucky to have him, in my opinion.

I posted this in another thread. The evaluator just got around to watching Sam and thinks he can be a superstar and thought he was a top 15 player.

Needless to say, this eval is very much in line with mine. I just happen to think he was the best DE in the draft and he doesn't remind me of Khalil Mack like this guy says but of Demarcus Ware.

Hope your right on either comparison, Mack or Ware and we stole one.

There is crucified and there is inquiry.
To ignore patterns is foolhardy, good lad.
And your ovetall thesis rings true.
Yet it takes a lot of mistakes to get charged in the first place.
Just hope it is not a pattern.

I like his talent. I'm just tired of risking 2nd round picks on these types of players.

Well if he doesn't get arrested or his injury heals or he can stay out of Goodell's doghouse, etc.

I was hoping we'd wait until the 3rd round for this so obvious target.

Would you have been upset if they took Tolbert in the 2nd? I liked both players. I also thought they'd maybe try to grab Williams in the 3rd. It's unlikely he would have made it there. That said, I thought it was as equally as unlikely that Tolbert would have been there in the 3rd. Yet there he was. Still. I like our draft. I think Tyler Smith comes in very handy this year.

If we're talking patterns, let's talk about how consistently incoherent your posts are....

Dude is a Muscle car with all the bells and whistles. Question will be, can he put it all together. I'm betting on him. I think he will be Defensive rookie of the year.

I'll go in with you on that bet.

He's going to be put in the perfect environment. The situation he's in is the best any rookie can be in, particularly because he'll be playing under Dan Quinn.

Williams will play some edge. But you're going to see him move around to linebacker too while Parsons and Fowler rush the edge.

This defense will be the most exciting defense we've seen yet.

I think our 2021 draft class also improves. And defense will greatly improve from last year, especially if Kelvin Joseph can play.

They're built similar so they're the same player.

Be better, Rowdy. Sam Williams couldn't bend like DeMarcus Ware if his life depended on it.
Just make sure you remember to apologize to me when you realize he isn't a "power player".

Here is a handful of plays that are really just a snapshot of a lot of other plays that I have seen where you see his get off and ability to run by a Tackle, or a T,G and RB like he did in one of these plays.

Have to forward to about halfway on this video:
