Come playoff time, you won't have it. So what is the point of that?

Multiple starters will likely be lost for the season.

That is football. Doesn't affect the Eagles, but it sends Dallas into a tailspin

I agree about all the injuries during playoff time. Everybody is injured. But this young season, how many other teams that are considered playoff teams have been playing without 2 or 3 starting offensive linemen like we have so far?

How many of them beat the 49ers this year in that situation? I can tell you, not many will hold up too well to the 49ers defense with an injured offensive line.

Yes that happens in football, but that's still not a true test of what our offense can really do vs a defense like theirs in situations like that. That goes for any team.

2-2

Lose to SF and Eagles.

Same team as last year. Based more so on the offense taking a step back with McCarthy and the Diggs injury.
Really disappointed by the offense
Especially in the redzone
Was hopeful coach mac's offense and play calling would be an improvement and not a step back.

The players on this team know their consistent failures more than anyone. They choke when it matters. Or at least their QB does, and that truth has to be exercised.

Until they get over this hump, their reputation remains their reality.
I don't think your view of their reality and their view would quite match up. I'm sure they want to beat San Fran badly since they've lost to them the last two years in the playoff. But if they lose to them Sunday night, it doesn't mean they won't believe they can beat them if they meet in the playoffs. A lot can and will happen between now and then to shape how this team views itself.

In 2007, we beat the Giants twice during the regular season, by at least 10 points both times. Come playoff time, New York had found itself and beat us to go on to a Super Bowl title. Little more is on the line this Sunday than a victory.
