No it will not be.They can lose, but if they get smoked, that'll be the beginning of the end.

These 4 games will expose either greatness, fraudulence, or more of the same.No it will not be.
I don’t agree with him that it will be the beginning of the end, but it could be very difficult to rebound if we get blown out on Sunday night. Our confidence will be badly shaken if that happens. It won’t be easy rebounding on the road against the Chargers. If we were to follow up a blowout loss to San Francisco with a loss to the Chargers, that could be the beginning of the end, especially if Philly continues to win.No it will not be.
It starts getting tough for the Cowboys on Sunday. They have the Chargers on the road the following week then the Rams. Both teams have top QBs.
Have the Chargers shown they are a team to contend with? Not really, not IMO.I don’t agree with him that it will be the beginning of the end, but it could be very difficult to rebound if we get blown out on Sunday night. Dallas shown they can contend with any team. So why are so many of our fans afraid. Yes a tough stretch coming up. But maybe their fans are saying, wow we got Dallas coming up, how do we deal with that defense. These 4 games will expose either greatness, fraudulence, or more of the same.
Have the Cardinals shown they’re a team to contend with? They beat us on the road by two TDs, and they don’t have a QB nearly as good as Justin Herbert. The Chargers put up 34 points on Miami in the opener losing by only two points. They lost by 3 points to Tennessee and they won their last two games, so yes they’re a team to contend with. That would be a challenge facing them on the road after being smoked by San Francisco. You’re taking the Chargers way too lightly.Have the Chargers shown they are a team to contend with? The defense gives up a lot of points. But then again, it was the Dolphins high powered offense, that Buffalo just held to 20 points.
The lost to the Titans, beat a bad Vikings team, then beat a not so good Raiders team who was playing a back up QB. A game they could have, and probably should have lost.
Rams are playing much better than anyone expected. That rookie WR looks great, and they are getting Kupp back. That will be a tough game, but at least is is a home game after our bye.
Our starting offensive line has never played a game together. Not one.
All teams are injured. That's always the lament of losers
You are giving SF way too much credit. The 2 playoff game...they did not smoke us. But yet you are saying they will Sunday. Do you want them to smoke us. So you can say you are correct?Have the Cardinals shown they’re a team to contend with? They beat us on the road by two TDs, and they don’t have a QB nearly as good as Justin Herbert. I never said San Francisco was going to smoke us. I was responding to the comment made by the other poster who said if they did smoke us that it would be the beginning of the end. I’m just saying IF they smoked us, it would be tough to rebound against the Chargers on the road. I think the game will be competitive against San Francisco unless the Cowboys turn the ball over or we run into the same problem against the run that we did against the Cardinals. You’re not giving the Chargers enough credit. You don’t seem to think they’re going to contend but they’re currently 2-2 and their only two losses were by a combined total of five points. That’s going to be a tough game even if we beat San Francisco. You are giving SF way too much credit. The 2 playoff game...they did not smoke us. But yet you are saying they will Sunday. You really believe that both or either NY teams, AZ and Pats are better teams than the LA teams?"Better teams" based on what?
The LA teams are both 2-2, the NY teams are both 1-3 because we beat them... had they beaten us, they'd both be 2-2, just like the LA teams.
4 games into a season and the guy who's never heard of Jordan Love wants to tell us which teams are good and which ones suck?
Yeah, I don't think so.
He has an agenda which includes diminishing the team's early success. Ask him his opinion of Dak and that agenda becomes crystal clear.
I have no clue and neither do you. We're 4 games into a 17-game season. You really believe that both or either NY teams, AZ and Pats are better teams than the LA teams?
I hear ya but does he have a valid point?Im talking about HIS agenda specifically.
If you have no idea then perhaps you should bow out of the discussion which is opinion based . And as fans we can draw some conclusions based on the current facts and results thus far.I have no clue and neither do you. We're 4 games into a 17-game season.
The Jets beat Buffalo and nearly beat KC. They made Josh Allen and Mahomes look bad while doing so.
The Chargers squeaked by the 0-4 Vikings and 1-3 Raiders to get to 2-2.
The Rams squeaked by the Colts in OT to get to 2-2.
No, the Jets aren't automatically "McNeese State" just because the OP is unhappy with how well Dak played against them. Nice try on his/her part.
Ah, so we're going off of last year's results now? That's why the Chargers are good?If you have no idea then perhaps you should bow out of the discussion which is opinion based . And as fans we can draw some conclusions based on the current facts and results thus far.
This doesn’t represent what any of these teams could become. Who knows maybe all four of these teams we’ve played all become playoff teams .
But I think the average even possibly the most casual fans along with most of the media would conclude at this time thru 4 weeks that our upcoming 4 game stretch are or will be a much tougher test of opponents .
SF and Phi are a given unless you want to argue those as well which on their own regardless the other two would be a strong enough argument. But I’d also suggest that most of these also would also argue the LAC a playoff team last year is also a stronger opponent than at least NYJ, AZ and NE. LAR is probably the weakest of these 4 upcoming and if you want to single that game out to base your argument on I’m willing to concede that one but at least early on I think most would argue they appear a little stronger opponent.
And I wouldn’t base that strictly on record but following most of their games and opponents they’ve faced have been more tested more as well.
The OP does make some harsh pundit remarks like McNeese Stare which is ridiculous of course to punctuate his take but I’ll stand by his overall point on this 4 game stretch comparisons.
I’m not sure why this bothers some fans. I guess they just don’t like his attitude and smartarse critical presentation but the argument fundamentally is sound.
It all depends on how we respond the following week and beyond. It could very well be meaningless a loss in SF if we respond up following weeks.I don’t agree with him that it will be the beginning of the end, but it could be very difficult to rebound if we get blown out on Sunday night. Our confidence will be badly shaken if that happens. It won’t be easy rebounding on the road against the Chargers. If we were to follow up a blowout loss to San Francisco with a loss to the Chargers, that could be the beginning of the end, especially if Philly continues to win.
No, I’m just saying that’s one contributing factor. Not all.Ah, so we're going off of last year's results now? That's why the Chargers are good?
Okay.
Then the Cowboys' 40-0 win in Week 1, vs a team that won a playoff game last year (unlike the Chargers) carries more weight than beating the Chargers.
And beating the Jets (5-4 with Zach Wilson last year, 7-10 overall) carries more weight than beating the Rams (5-12 last year).
That’s a factor that really hasn’t even been discussed in this argument . Whether we believe the Rams and Chargers are tougher opponents than any of the first four teams we’ve faced , they definitely present better QB’s which should be a stronger test for our defense. It starts getting tough for the Cowboys on Sunday. They have the Chargers on the road the following week then the Rams. Both teams have top QBs.
