There's a great movie from that era called "A Song Is Born" starring Danny Kaye and most of the jazz/swing greats from the time including Louis Armstrong, Lionel Hampton, Mel Powell, Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman and many others. Kaye and Goodman play professors that are writing the comprehensive history of music since the beginning of mankind, but have been locked up in their studies and no nothing about this "new" style of music, jazz. They send Danny Kaye out into the world to research jazz and all it's forms. Goodman plays a great goofy professor. The jams with all those greats playing together throughout the movie is pretty awesome.Best song of that era.
* same hear, bro! only it's cheap ear buds for me, & I mean like "Big Lots" store cheap, as I'll buy usually around 3 sets of them& a scented candle from that store & in the 3 days time it takes for that candle to burn away? I'm most likely all ready yarded out that #2 set of cheap ear bud by then( it's mostly misuse on my end, like leaving them plugged in & having 4 foot of dangle ,just waiting to tangle up on something)...lol...thanks...I also liked to listen to the video s with headphones...I seem to hear everything better that way!.

Mac Davis, Buddy Holly, Waylon and Stevie Nicks are all Lubbockers. And why isn't there a Lub Bock beer?Written by Mac Davis from Lubbock, Texas. Funny thing, I don't think there are any ghettos in Lubbock.
