I get it but all the money in the world will never fix the fact that his legacy will be as a choker in his lifes work.

If it was me. I'd give half of all that money to have gotten a Lombardi and succeeded in my life's work.

Money wise, he was set for life 3 years ago.....the rest is just fluff
oh crap, here comes the "you don't question a choker and his money" comments. Now you've done it.

He literally just had his first kid or is about to have his first kid. I dont think he gives a rats behind, but I think they don't speak on him cause they have enough respect for him to address him directly.
I run a business in Health Care. It's great if you come in and tell me how wonderful of a job we are doing. It's much more helpful to give my company a 5 star review on google.

It has now been nearly 3 weeks since our implosion in the WC game. 3 weeks of Dak getting absolutely annihilated in the press and on social media by everyone and, literally, their mother.

There has been nothing but silence. For someone who is supposedly a great leader, the players who supposedly are the ones that follow this leader, have said nothing to support him. His offensive linemen, silence. WRs? Silence. Ferguson? Silence. Pollard? Silence. Defense? Silence. Coaches? Silence. Ownership? Not so thinly veiled shots across the bow, "we'll go as far as Dak takes us, and that's how far we went."

This entire organization has turned its back on Dak. Honestly, and this is coming from a Dak "hater," I feel kind of bad for the guy. It's not like he doesn't try hard or put in the work to be successful, he just isn't that guy and never will be. The choke glitch is mental and no amount of extra practice or film watching is going to fix that.

That said, he does work hard, but he has lost the locker room and organizational support. He should ask for a trade just based on what he should be viewing as the team sticking a knife in his back.
Sometimes silence is misunderstood. As long as some of the players or positions mentioned above have gone to Dak in a private setting......that's all that's necessary. Cee Dee should have responded publicly, as Mom did.

Jerry recently tossed Dak out there, by not being publicly supportive as he was with Big Mike spewing "championship culture" for us to hear. Jerry was wrong, even he is going in another direction, but he's a lousy GM anyway.

So if Dak is not on this roster for not being wanted or supported........."Be careful what you wish for, it may not be what you really want, in the end."

Go get Baker Mayfield or any QB preferred by this board. May not be pretty, and it will be most impactful to Cee Dee, initially and then Mama. He may be headcase once it's all over.

CeeDee would be fine with Baker Mayfield. CeeDees numbers were compatible with 6 games of Cooper Rush (a backup scrub running a conservative game plan) as they are with Dak. I posted the #s before you can look it up before spouting off.

CeeDee is elite at his position. He doesn't need Dak

The silence tells you there's nothing to defend. If it wasn't for the cryptic "We'll go as far as Dak takes us" musings from the mind of a madman, questions like this wouldn't be common. If I was Dak, I'd be concerned if everyone HAD to come to my defense. Not only that, but for all the riddles coming out of the one side of Jerry's mouth, there's Dak support coming out of the other side but those comments are just not as noteworthy I guess.

He's (Dak) not going anywhere. Best just to accept that idea and move on.

:hammer: ........The only question I have is....Did McCarthy sabotage Dak.....just like he sabotage Kellen???? So he could get the guy he really wanted. We all see how McCarthy operates now...make it fail so he can get his way....That's what back stabbers do.

Leaders don't get called the B-word by teammates. You ever see anything like that with Mahomes or Brady? The claim that Dak is a leader is a purely PR fabricated bs.
It was all a scam. sky pointing, pats on the butt, shiney Nikes, QB default, kind words from fellow players in front of cameras and microphones...

Isn't the heart of being a true leader. But without being able to break through to greatness..to LEAD TO SOMEWHERE! (i.e. solid playoff success), it's all Dak Crusaders had. "man of the year" award.

The thing is...he doesn't have to be this George Patton of leadership. Or Tom Brady. He could just be the Dallas Cowboys QB. And that's fine. But he was bestowed and seemingly accepted the Great Leader designation. SO that comes with hard responsibilities. One of them is to take the heat. And when you ALSO share a lot of fault for an epic failure, their might be other consequences as well.

They have not had a "face of the franchise" for what seems like since Emmitt left.
So they really pushed Dak possibly? But then again there was no one else to promote.

I am not saying it is good or bad, nor do I really care. But when no playoff success, as they turn into.... oh, no, not again, can't get close to the NFCCG.
Yeah fans get tired, and want change. Unfortunately that may not happen for 3 to 5 more years if they give a contract extension.
Unless they fix the OL, get a top notch RB, and a Baltimore / SF type defense.

The OP has good points. However, the defense gave us no chance in that game. Not defending Dak but keeping things in perspective.

It's a reach to think that the organization has turned it's back on Dak. You don't know what is talked about internally. If you're expecting this mass of players to come out publicly and start throwing other players under the bus, you're going to be disappointed. There's not a player on this team that played well enough in the game to blame any other player.

I'm not making excuses for Dak, he did not play well in the playoff game. You know what? The entire team did not play well in the playoff game. You can go down the list of the entire team, Dak included, and find blame for that loss to the Packers. Did Dak choke? yep. Did the coaches choke? yep. Did the rest of the team choke? Yep

This notion that Dak is somehow on this isolated island within the organization is a total reach. Truth is, the guy was playing at an MVP level going into the playoffs.
DID NOT PLAY WELL?

are you blind or what?

THEY STANK IT UP!

trying to make it less of a disaster is pathetic

Most of them are on vacation and spending time with their families after a long year with lots of time away.

Just because we as fans are demanding continuous updates doesn’t mean the players are obligated to carry our agenda.

I’m sure most players think fans are so disconnected from the reality of their job that they actively avoid us unless it plays into their branding and marketing.

If I were an astronaut, highly skilled and trained and one of the few people on the planet capable of doing what I do, I can’t say i would get too worked up over what some people on the internet are gossiping about when it came to demanding changes in the space program.

Basically, this is it in a nutshell:

Dak: I sucked.

Offense: Yeah, Dak sucked. Defense sucked. Coaches sucked.

Defense: Yeah, Dak sucked. Defense sucked. Coaches sucked.

Not much more to say.

Since 2016 some of us have been bullied, verbally abused, and insulted constantly and they deserve every once of vindication when it pertains to the primary reason we have wasted not 1 but 2 talented rosters for the Love of Dak.
Would I prefer to have Dak have make me eat crow...........you bet..........he couldn't........THE END.
Next Please and ASAP!!!
Don’t be such a victim.
