It has now been nearly 3 weeks since our implosion in the WC game. 3 weeks of Dak getting absolutely annihilated in the press and on social media by everyone and, literally, their mother.

There has been nothing but silence. For someone who is supposedly a great leader, the players who supposedly are the ones that follow this leader, have said nothing to support him. His offensive linemen, silence. WRs? Silence. Ferguson? Silence. Pollard? Silence. Defense? Silence. Coaches? Silence. Ownership? Not so thinly veiled shots across the bow, "we'll go as far as Dak takes us, and that's how far we went."

This entire organization has turned its back on Dak. Honestly, and this is coming from a Dak "hater," I feel kind of bad for the guy. It's not like he doesn't try hard or put in the work to be successful, he just isn't that guy and never will be. The choke glitch is mental and no amount of extra practice or film watching is going to fix that.

That said, he does work hard, but he has lost the locker room and organizational support. He should ask for a trade just based on what he should be viewing as the team sticking a knife in his back.
Those same backs will sign him to a huge deal

remember when Dak said his contract was about respect in that interview. This was after Jerry didn’t bench him when Zeke was suspended and how awful he looked before Cooper came and bailed him out and how Jerry didn’t let him be flustered by any competition in practice and so on.

CeeDee would be fine with Baker Mayfield. CeeDees numbers were compatible with 6 games of Cooper Rush (a backup scrub running a conservative game plan) as they are with Dak. I posted the #s before you can look it up before spouting off.

CeeDee is elite at his position. He doesn't need Dak
Cooper was even better with Rush.

The GB loss was brutal for the entire franchise. No one gets a pass for that crapfest.

The L was especially brutal for Dak. To play the way he did at home, against a 7 seed is simply inexcusable.

With the “bag” comes great responsibility. He has yet to deliver his end of the deal. There are no excuses.

2024 is setting up to be a horror show. I would be shocked if we win 9 games next year.
not for jerry he's happier than a kid at a carnival, he make good money

You can call him every name every insult it doesn’t bother him, he knows he’s in the driver seat and if Jerry doesn’t give him everything he wants he just plays out the year,he doesn’t have a care in the world. It’s pay him hundreds of millions or Jerry is screwed cap wise next season. Dak is laughing at Jerry and Stevie just waiting for money to pour in. No one to blame but Jerry and Stevie for being in this position but it’s what happens when non football guys run the team
I hear you. But if it was me, and I had all the money he already does, I'd have enough pride to be like "okay, nobody here; fans, coaches, or teammates have my back so I'm going to go somewhere that they do."

I mean, apparently there's 31 other teams that want him according to one guy here, so should be a big market.

It's a reach to think that the organization has turned it's back on Dak. You don't know what is talked about internally. If you're expecting this mass of players to come out publicly and start throwing other players under the bus, you're going to be disappointed. There's not a player on this team that played well enough in the game to blame any other player.

I'm not making excuses for Dak, he did not play well in the playoff game. You know what? The entire team did not play well in the playoff game. You can go down the list of the entire team, Dak included, and find blame for that loss to the Packers. Did Dak choke? yep. Did the coaches choke? yep. Did the rest of the team choke? Yep

This notion that Dak is somehow on this isolated island within the organization is a total reach. Truth is, the guy was playing at an MVP level going into the playoffs.
3-3 down the stretch is not MVP level. He sniffed that level mid season but choked as usual.

It is the players time off. Time to be with their families. Take trips, or do nothing. Why should they be talking to the media.
Dang, let them be. I am sure once FA rolls around, there will be some comments. Probably all the normal cliches'.

No one turned their back on anyone just becasue they have not said what you want them to say.
Just another bash Dak thread IMO.

Front 3 or 4 pages now loaded with this type of stuff.
Jazz, there are other mods who have joined into the Dak pile on now.

It's all the board is now - really too bad. Every thread gets derailed into the same crew circle liking each other.

Micah defended Dak very clearly but no one wants to hear it.

How about some general football / team talk (positive and negative, though not a lot of positives right now) not constant Dak. There are 3 pages of it, and more started saying the exact same things. /as posters say the exact same thing ad nauseam.

Some variety would be nice, other than Dak and Jerry.
Where is the outrage that Rowdy is the real curse.
Maybe one of those art pieces in the stadium is the real curse. Did Jerry accidentally rob a Pharaoh's tomb?

I just read where Micah defender him so I'll give you that. Where's the rest of the team? And by the rest, I mean, anybody else.

OP has a point, but...you're teammates don't like you, fans can't stand you, Jerry takes shots at you...and you're still going to get extended. Like the walkabout coaches and all the entitled players who will never worry about consequences or failure...why would Dak lose a minute of sleep?
