It has now been nearly 3 weeks since our implosion in the WC game. 3 weeks of Dak getting absolutely annihilated in the press and on social media by everyone and, literally, their mother.

There has been nothing but silence. For someone who is supposedly a great leader, the players who supposedly are the ones that follow this leader, have said nothing to support him. His offensive linemen, silence. WRs? Silence. Ferguson? Silence. Pollard? Silence. Defense? Silence. Coaches? Silence. Ownership? Not so thinly veiled shots across the bow, "we'll go as far as Dak takes us, and that's how far we went."

This entire organization has turned its back on Dak. Honestly, and this is coming from a Dak "hater," I feel kind of bad for the guy. It's not like he doesn't try hard or put in the work to be successful, he just isn't that guy and never will be. The choke glitch is mental and no amount of extra practice or film watching is going to fix that.

That said, he does work hard, but he has lost the locker room and organizational support. He should ask for a trade just based on what he should be viewing as the team sticking a knife in his back.
This place has turned into an echo chamber. Congrats.

32 GMs in the league would roll with Dak.

:hammer: ........The only question I have is....Did McCarthy sabotage Dak.....just like he sabotage Kellen???? So he could get the guy he really wanted. We all see how McCarthy operates now...make it fail so he can get his way....That's what back stabbers do.
and the earth is flat

I get it but all the money in the world will never fix the fact that his legacy will be as a choker in his lifes work.

If it was me. I'd give half of all that money to have gotten a Lombardi and succeeded in my life's work.

Money wise, he was set for life 3 years ago.....the rest is just fluff

You can call him every name every insult it doesn’t bother him, he knows he’s in the driver seat and if Jerry doesn’t give him everything he wants he just plays out the year,he doesn’t have a care in the world. It’s pay him hundreds of millions or Jerry is screwed cap wise next season. Dak is laughing at Jerry and Stevie just waiting for money to pour in. No one to blame but Jerry and Stevie for being in this position but it’s what happens when non football guys run the team

He’s made millions and his brother and his posse are annoying as hell. He’s got a nice mattress to sleep on at home.

The GB loss was brutal for the entire franchise. No one gets a pass for that crapfest.

The L was especially brutal for Dak. To play the way he did at home, against a 7 seed is simply inexcusable.

With the “bag” comes great responsibility. He has yet to deliver his end of the deal. There are no excuses.

2024 is setting up to be a horror show. I would be shocked if we win 9 games next year.
Best thing for us is to win 9 or less, because he ends the fantasy once and for all. It means a complete U-Turn…

These losses hurt and I'm sure every player deals with it differently. Many players have remained quiet and frankly nothing they can do or say right now matters. Regardless what is said some fans and media will eat the comments alive. If fans heard the usual speak we didn't do our job and need to execute better the response would be that it means nothing. If a player alluded to coaching or players he would be called out as a terrible leader and teammate.

So perhaps staying quiet is the best way to move forward. Get yourself in the right head space and then work your behind off all offseason is what I would expect.

Leaders don't get called the B-word by teammates. You ever see anything like that with Mahomes or Brady? The claim that Dak is a leader is a purely PR fabricated bs.
I think people confuse leader with being one of the boys…. But that only lasts so long, when your contract is dependent on Dak throwing the ball to somewhere it is catcheable.
