Why is everyone down on Zeke right now, what is he lacking?

Lol... Those numbers don't have to be attributed to speed, there are many factors, o line, Play call, defense adjustments to him, touches all are factors

Eveything is attributed to speed if talking RB, how fast you hit the hole,yep, even a guy like Csonka, the more speed the more velocity the more of a wham!

Once the sped begins to erode a RB starts becoming limited in what ya do with him, first thing that goes is the pitch out, forget that. So the guy becomes more of a between the tackles runner and that D knows this.

Zeke is only 26 he his too young to be slowing,hell we see pro sprinters PR ing after 30.

If you dont rip a 30yd run every 2nd carry you're trash on this board. People forget those other RBs have opportunity because Zeke is scouted for, change of pace backs usually have an advantage if they are quality RB's. We happen to have an embarrassment of riches at WR and RB. But as usual people complain about something.

C'mon man. Zeke's had eleven 30+ yard carries his entire career. 5 of those came as a rookie. His lack of big plays sticks out like a sore thumb for a RB the quality of Zeke. I bet a lot of the Zeke criticism would die down if obvious constructive criticism wasn't debated so vehemently. It would just be a topic where people were preaching to the choir.

No it's not, hitting the hole is about patience, I played RB since I was up through semi pro.

Tony Dorsett was a speed RB, that is not Zeke. He has quicks with power some wiggle and some speed.

Reggie Bush was a speed RB, he was also a 10.4 100m man in HS, Zeke a 10.9 which is a huge difference.

So while Zeke is showing some speed now don't get silly with it and think he's a speed guy, he isn't.
