4.4 is cooking for a running back

Zeke

A Missouri state high hurdles champ in HS, thinking he won it four times.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
John Riggins twice the Kansas State 100 yard champ a 9.8 guy, also won the long jump, over 22 feet. Obviously he was lighter in those days. Did see a video, dude was yoked.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Remember our old DB Mel Renfro, well he was a running back and a stud 13.7 hurdler and a 25-10 long jumper. Scored at the NCAA helping Oregon win the meet. He also ran a leg on a world record 4x1 team at Oregon, very rare for a college to pull that off. Also on that team Jerry Tarr and Mike Gaetcher both had pro football shots, ah...busts!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Alvin "only had one play" Harper, was a stud high jumper at Tennessee, 7-2 is world class.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Remember our DB Terrence Newman, he was a Big12 100 champ while at Kansas State a 10.20 guy.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hollywood Henderson was a 9.5 100 guy and a triple jumper at Langston College. No doubts he ran on the 4x1 relay also. Not sure why he played linebacker, hmmm?
Why is everyone down on Zeke right now, what is he lacking?
people need something to complain about even when we are winning. At the end of the day his contract did not hinder us signing any of our own players and he's been a factor in us staying relevant in the TB game with his pass protection and also softening boxes for TP. We should be estatic this coaching staff doesn't have a gameplan to just run him 25x a game and we are a lot more creative than during the Garrett regime.
I'm ok with this playing out, and keeping him fresh for our tough stretches going into thanksgiving and ending the season with multiple division games.
Who was complaining not I, i agree with you on all that.
Nope, the guy has without question lost some of his jets, totally obvious. But, he can still be effective.as is.
Disagree. That's a construction of your own want or will. It's not reality.
agree, don't think he is any slower than last year. he just has not had the opportunities to show you how quick he really can be, I'm expecting him to have a breakout game on our home stretch here which will do wonders for Moore's OC bag and gameplanning.
I have been watching Zeke since his Ohio State days, and I am a track geek. If you need to play pretend have at it. we are all seeing it, yes Zeke has lost a step. BUT......has enought speed left to make it work.
Google his early days highlights, we aren't seeing that now.
Disagree. You've made your opinion known. Repeating it doesn't make it a reality. It's okay to disagree here so stop insisting it's your way or the highway. Did you not learn how to play nice as a child? Insisting your perspective is the only one that's relevant here indicates you did not learn how to play nice as a child. Lots of us out here have been watching Zeke since his Buckeye days and are aware of his history in track and not everyone agrees with you. You don't speak for everyone, yet you play pretend otherwise.
Well lets see...
Averaged
5.1
4.1
4.7
4.5
last season 4.0
this season 3.9
You've simply wrong if you think at 26 he still has the jets he once had, he doesn't and we all see it, hard to believe you don't.
Long runs each season
60
30
41
33
31
29
So the last two seasons his worst averages and no long runs,
4.4 is cooking for a running back
