Getting Prescott thinking might actually help his competitive nature to think FG’s and INT’s won’t beat better teams . The man has no pressure
I think a lot of seats are corporate seats. Company's buy them and hand them to customers and employees. So you probably get a good mix of people who don't really care about the cowboys and they either don't show up for the game or wander around looking at all the artwork that Gene has on display there which, being honest, I might spend more time looking at then the pooo on the field. It looked about 3/4 full by the start of the 2nd quarter. For as much as Jerry was talking about never selling more season tickets, the rest of the seats didn't seem very occupied.
I was there. The place was full. Whether people were there or not, the game was a sellout. That means all seats were sold. We still have the biggest attendance of any team in the league. When we were winning in the seventies and eighties, Tex couldn’t sell end zone seats so companies bought tickets so the games could be broadcast on TV and not blacked out. Every game is sold out this year so no need for threads asking if the stadium was empty or full. Jerry got the ticket revenue which is a fraction of the revenue he gets from TV. When you watch the games on TB, you do more to contribute to Jerry’s pocketbook than what happens in that stadium. While I watched the game at the sports bar near me (and I will be doing a big thread on the game Tuesday or Wednesday about my opinion), including help but notice something. As the game was being broadcast, they occasionally showed the crowd, particularly on extra points. I couldn't help but notice that the stadium didn't look full. For those of you at the game, was it a sell out game? It did not look that way while I was watching the game. And this included the first quarter.
Who cares? Jeez, gonna be a long week. I'll try to stay away, but it's like watching a bad car wreck....
Sorry, I'm just beyond frustrated. It feels like I'm never going to have success with this team.
