The stadium didn't look full

It was not full at kickoff and definitely 30% empty by the mid of the third quarter.
ticket prices are crazy high given the team has not performed . there is fatigue with the lack of success. A new QB and some defensive signinings would have helped. But jerry wants to try the same old stuff.

Rusty I understand how you feel. I’m only a remaining fan because of the past and my hope for the future. I completely understand the fans who have had it.

Sadly, the Cowboys are run by a very rich, greedy, insecure and arrogant man who cares more about his personal ego than his team’s on field success. If Jerry truly loved this team and wanted them to win he would have stepped aside. It is truly that simple. Three decades of evidence is overwhelming

I mean, I'm definitely getting close to having had it. I do have a 2.0 costume being paid for. The stars on my suit are for the Cowboys. I paid a lot of money for this suit, and the next one is going to be expensive. I'm strongly leaning to having the stars on the next suit being circles or some other shape. The Cowboys are a heavy part of my suit because they've been a huge part of my life as a fan. Yet, I've never gotten anything out of it. I have accepted that I'll never win with the Cowboys. I just want to feel like it matter at all.

And you know what really pushed me to feeling this angry? 3 things. One. Stephen's comments that Jerry was laughing and nodding to during the training camp press conference where they were asked about fan apathy. To which, Stephen (partly why I wrote this thread) responded "we've never sold so many season tickets." That told me everything I needed to know and confirmed what I suspected. The FO doesn't care. As long as they make money, who cares?

Secondly, the fact they dragged out the Lamb and Dak contracts and the lack of offseason activities when signing them were the obvious moves. It was obvious they were dragging it out to get as much media attention and as much media money as possible out of it. If we were run by say, Howie Roseman and the Eagles organisation, those two and Parsons get extended, and they find a way to address glaring weaknesses that I was screaming about all offseason. RB and NT. Derrick Henry wanted to come here. Jerry never called him. It told me it's all about the clicks and media and not winning. Again, Jerry doesn't care. Honestly, I'm not sure Jerry even likes the Cowboys. He just uses us to get rich.

3. His interview with Stephen A Smith. For as much as Stephen A Smith talks about his much he hates our fan base, you'd think he'd want nothing to do with Jerry Jones. Yet, they're pals, and they got to laugh it up a week or two ago. Again, makes me wonder if Jerry secretly hates the Cowboys. He just likes that we make him money. He doesn't actually like us. I know Stephen A is a heel. I know he knows that the more he talks about how much he "hates" us, the more he gets paid. Yet, the interview between the two of them spoke volumes to me. Jerry hates us. He thinks we're stupid.

I may make a thread about this at a later time when I have more energy (especially as I'm still not well). But that's why I'm where I am with this team. I never thought I'd be here, but I'm just, miserable with this team ATM.

I watched ticket prices all week and they would not budge lower, 15 minutes before the game there were still a ton of unsold seats
All Cowboys games are sold out for the season. On Ticketmaster, there are no seats available for any game.

Do you mean Stubhub or another third party site had tickets available?

What you guys don’t seem to understand is pretty much all seats have been sold. If I had to guess I would say 99% have been sold before the season starts. The tickets you see on the various secondary markets are STH’s and ticket brokers selling their tickets at an inflated rate. Example, I pay roughly abt 180 for my tickets averaged out over ten games including preseason. In my section depending on the game they will sell from an average of 350-400 a game with a higher end of 500 depending on the opponent. Whether they are bought or not on the secondary market doesn’t matter because the Cowboys have already collected their portion. Aside from some SRO tickets most tickets have already been paid for by a broker or STH. I sold my tickets on SeatGeek for this game at 450 a ticket for a total of 1800 bucks. That’s what I cleared after all of the fees SeatGeek added on to the person that bought them. So don’t think because the seats aren’t full Jerry isn’t getting his chunk of change because he got it back
In May when invoices for tickets were due.

Then what's the point? This franchise might very well be dead.

It would have to start with a severe drop in ratings which would possibly keep people from buying season tickets. People b***** and complain don’t buy this or that but the thing IMO that would hurt Jerry the most is ratings. Not watching or paying attention is what would cripple them the most because it would trickle down and eventually hitting them where it really matters……the bank account.

While I watched the game at the sports bar near me (and I will be doing a big thread on the game Tuesday or Wednesday about my opinion), including help but notice something. As the game was being broadcast, they occasionally showed the crowd, particularly on extra points. I couldn't help but notice that the stadium didn't look full. For those of you at the game, was it a sell out game? It did not look that way while I was watching the game. And this included the first quarter.
If that's the case it will get Jerry's attention

Like, it was sold out? The Saints fan situation just means Jerry gets paid, he won't care about that. But if there were vacant seats, then maybe that can send Jerry a message.
Even if there were a few vacant seats, it's barely a blip on the radar for Jerry. A message for Jerry would be to start losing Prime Time games and the league scheduling more 12:00 starts.

I mean, a few more games like yesterday, and that may happen with a lot of us.

No vacant seats. The Party Pass area was all Saints fans. And these people aren’t traveling, they live here.

Seriously think about this . The offense kicking FG’s can’t keep up and Anger is punting away would it kill this final score beat down to have Lance run the show a couple of series . You dropped a 4 for the guy .

If they had not re-signed Dak, I wouldn't be opposed even though I think Lance is garbage, but what's the point of doing it now since the extension?
