I can't even watch the game... the whole series has been totally ruined.

What's even worse - this was the only quality series in the second round.

I'm a huge Spurs fan, but honestly, I think the ONLY way this series can turn out positively for them is if they lose this game tonight and then go on to win in 7.

But that's a huge task, especially considering they were a couple of minutes away from taking a 3-1 lead the other night. That comeback and those suspensions ended up being a huge momentum swing for the Suns.

I understand the comeback but how is getting 2 suspensions a momentum swing in your favor?

We lost Amare AND Diaw... I don't get your logic.

The Spurs are still the kings of closing out the 4th quarter. It'll be very tough, if the Suns hold on to their lead tonight, to finish it out in San Antonio in game six. And the Spurs can win on the road in the playoffs.

I think it can be viewed as a swing to the Suns because the Spurs are now expected to win tonight. If they don't, and the Suns gut it out without their second or third best player, they have overcome a lot. Then they get to go to SA for game 6 where Horry will be suspended again. Stoudamire is gonna be jacked up if they have a chance to close it out in SA with Horry out.

I guess I can see the whole "Suns can rally together and over come their losses for tonight."

As for whoever wins tonight, obviously they get the momentum, 83% of the teams who have won a game 5 when tied at 2 have won the series.

I've heard going up 2-0 in a series is a real clincher, too.

Tis the life of a fan at times. Gotta take the good with the bad.

And sometimes, the truly, disgustingly ugly.

Dang!

Bowen with a clutch three.

Luckily, TD choked on the two FT's.

Tough with zero depth...

The league pretty much gift wrapped this series for the Spurs, unreal.

come on, i honestly dont think the suns would have played any better with amare and diaw. specially marion, he played out of his mind.

Come on... Thomas had to play close to 40 minutes.

Nash played 40+ along with Marion and Barbosa.

All of them played well above their average minutes and obviously ran out of gas by the 4th quarter.

They came out winded in the 3rd quarter.

Marion played out of him mind the 1st half but then again he has been Mr Double Double so I'm not sure "out of his mind" is the correct term.

To say the absence of Amare and Diaw had no affect on the game is ludicrous.

You are either a homer, ignorant or having some fun with a Suns fan.

I will say the 1st one... I imagine you will tell me the 3rd, in which case, i don't believe you.

That is silly. The series is not over. It was one game that was very close even with the Suns down two of their better players. They can win the next two. The suspensions have not gift wrapped the series at all.

What 2 sides did you want with your big bowl of denial? It was pretty evident that Phoenix tired in the 4th quarter. Amare is able create his own shot and get some good looks down low, that would of taken a ton of pressure off Nash.

Marion played better last night than Amare and Diaw have combined the entire series .....

If the Suns cannot win with that type of effort from Marion ..... they cannot win this series.

With Amare in the game ..... Marion is not allowed to have that type of game.

The suspensions obviously had an effect on both teams... the Spurs in the first half (33 points??? Come on... the Spurs were clearly thrown off rhythm off their game by the whole situation) and the Suns in the second half, where the extra minutes and extra burden placed on Nash et al clearly took their toll.
