Looked obvious to me in real time and even more so when I replayed it. A good OPI to take but OPI just the same

I didn't see a push. I saw him put his arms out to keep him from coming into him. He didn't cause the defender to move at all. Pushing would have caused him to go in the other direction, throw him off balance, etc. None of that happened.

He prevented the defender from going after the ball, he doesn't have to push him forward, he stopped his progress and had he not done so, that ball was going to get intercepted.

This.

He's nothing more than a 3rd or 4th WR in this league. Man Romo is good!

Yeah that's why I can't blame others way too much for not seeing what I saw, along with a few other fans, in Terence Williams. Because Romo made him look really decent-good. Along with playing next to Dez.

But I always saw it. He's not good, at all.

Okay, I guess you just think the defender has a right to that space more than Williams does. I don't.

That's not what I said. The defender has a right to make a play on the ball without being pushed by the offensive player. Williams decided to push him in order to prevent the interception and he got flagged for it correctly. The End.

There were some terrible calls last night, but that is every week nowadays.

TWill extended his arms and that made the call pretty easy. You see it in the NBA all the time. The slightest shove makes a huge difference when jumping.

The PI on Dez to set up Bailey's FG was a terrible call IMO. The holding on Witten looked like a makeup for the holding on Claiborne.

The call I was worried about was Dez' TD. If they said he didn't maintain control throughout going to the ground because the CB knocked the ball out of his hand on the ground I would have lost it.

Are you guys blind or by saying Williams pushed off allows you to trash him.

Watch that play again, Williams never extended his arms, he never pushed off, the DB wasn't going to intercept it either.

Some of y'all need to grow up, I question y'all fan hood. If it's a penalty I call it, That was terrible call and stopped our momentum. Was a few of them terrible calls in the game that favor Philly

No sane person would argue that the Cowboys were screwed by the refs last night. There were quite a few calls that were either gifts or flat out blown in favor of Dallas.

They are just a 2-6 team. What one should have expected last year, just late arriving.

He did not push him. He held his ground and prevented the defender from backing into him.

Exactly, you can't prevent the defender from going after the ball, Williams did, which is why he was penalized.

It's quite obvious that I'm not blind and I think it's disrespectful to blind people to try to disparage me by calling me blind because you can't come to terms that Williams pushed off and was correctly penalized.

Maybe, maybe not. The Giants get away with stiff arming DB's for separation. The Patriots offense runs on illegal picks. I mean one of the Giants biggest plays came on an obvious OPI. OBJ does it on nearly every jump ball.

Beasley also had an obvious PI against him on that third down late in the game where a TD would have put us ahead. You could tell the crew felt bad about it so they attempted to even the score on our last drive when it was too little too late.

So maybe the Williams call was the "right" call, maybe not. I see that not called quite a bit, but the fact remains we never, ever get the benefit of the doubt.

Not the ball, from backing into him. He didn't prevent the defender from jumping. He secured the space he was already occupying.

I don't understand how you can say that we never get the benefit of the doubt when you just rightly pointed out that we two bogus pass interference calls to go our way on Dez, which put us in position to go to OT. Yes, there are bad calls throughout the course of the game, but that call against Williams was not one of them.

You can't secure the space that you're occupying by preventing the defender from getting to that same space while the ball is in the air.
