Dak keeps running like he had the last 2 games he might make me s believer. Thats whst he did bsck in 2016. Made it a weapon. This next game will be won lost by our defence i think.

The throw across the middle, where Dak stood knowing he was gonna get throttled, and made a perfect throw to the receiver (I forget who) was another great play.
Dak played great yesterday but his issue has been consistency. 1 great game, 1 good game and a clunker against good teams. He needs to put together a few really good games including next week

A real RB would help

IS!...my favorite play of the season so far. Three things happened that i LOVED!

1) Sent the big fella in the endzone and he was surely covered!
2) Dak through it high and away. PERFECT!
3) Ferg went up and got it with his hands. (didn't bounce off)

More please!

I can't remember for certain, but the one Gallup dropped last week was similar if I recall correctly. Dak seems to throw that particular route really well.

I've been impressed with his back shoulder fades in the endzone the last couple weeks. Him and Cooks have a nice connection there. The one against the Chargers was absolute money. He had to hang it up early to avoid the pass rush, but put enough air under it for the ball to come down just in time on a dot.

Agree that was the best offensive play of the game. (or at least the first half as I haven't seen the second half)

Let's see it consistently.

He's thrown that same accurate pass 3 previous times this season, but Ferguson, Hendershot and Gallup dropped them.

How many times have you seen quarterbacks against us do it? Y’all stay saying some off the wall stuff y’all turning into Colin Coward and Skip.
How hard is it to throw a pass to a TE, it's basic football!!!!!! It should be normal to see a TE getting the ball down the field, you must didn't watch the witten days, or novacek days. Ease up on me though, it's Monday, and I had Chili for dinner last night!!

Agree, on the consistency, however, what factors impact this? The running game is a chicken/egg scenario and benefitted from Dak's performance not vice versa.
Certainly agree with the idea that Dak running gives the defense a different show.
There is also the settling effect of a lead (and everything going to plan), he's so effected by confidence (more so than weapons) imo.
May the confidence be with him.

Showed me two things :
1. Ferguson can be a good tight end 1.

2. MM was being to conservative early in the season with his play calling.
I think this might a bit unfair. This play has been called a few times this year and the young TEs have dropped the damn thing. There was also that one against the Chargers where Dak didn't see Fergie break open down the middle on it. You have to believe they talked about that play in film study the last two weeks and Dak said if we call it again get ready um throwin it to you!

Key thing to me is Dak is clearly going to keep throwing that pass.
Ferg catching it is awesome and they should have a lot of years of that coming at you.
That is a Pro Bowl play for a TE when repeated 7-8 times in a season and it will resolve a lot of the red zone woes..
Fake off that to run draw is the alt/option play.

THIS. Consistency brings EX-PECT-TATIONS...and that's when Dak crumbles (typically).

I mean it’s pretty clear his problem seems to start and stop with the Niners. He typically plays good against Philly. Against most teams. Maybe he has a stinker or starts slow. The Niners though just have him and I don’t know why. I mean they have a chokehold on this team. If we gotta face them fine but at least get them at home.
yeah, the cowboys generally seem to struggle against niners. reminds me of the 90s, when they owned us until they didn't. at some point we need to get over the hump. right now they are in our heads and that's not a good thing. I just think they are not a good match up for us, as we are built for speed and we are a finesse team and niners are physical and tend to intimidate us. my biggest surprise is how weak our OL has been. my expectations are that the OL should be, could be more physical but instead they tend to play on their heels, specially on pass protection. I don't like the new OL philosophy. we should take it to the opponent as opposed to wait and react to them. we have a big physical OL and should play that way. and then there is pollard who is a scat back playing RB1. we need to have a more physical runner. so it goes back to my earlier comment, we are a finesse team based on speed.

Jerry get Henry and we are set offensively
not if we don't fix our OL play style. this is abig, strong physical OL, instead they are forced to play on their heels, wait and react as oppose to take it to the opponent, which is what they are good at. even Martin is struggling with it. on all passing downs, they are all on thei heels playing catch up with the DL men. if we change OL style play, then henry could help
