That play reminded me of a play Romo would run.
What would Dak's numbers look like if he didn't have what is it now 5 dropped TDs on his ledger? I count three by the tight ends, one by Pollard and one by Gallup so far. Did I miss any? People who have been bogged down on the numbers clearly have not been watching the games. MM has been calling plays just fine and Dak has been throwing the ball just fine. If the drops go down the numbers will go up and the haters are going to have to find some new material.Dak was hitting wrs in stride and in tight windows. If he can do THAT we are dangerous. What I saw was west coast offense 101. It relies on timing, quick throws, which we did.Dak was on schedule and only ran when needed. MM had a great game plan. The execution was nice. Mike isnt getting near the credit he deserves. Hès been calling the games just fine all year but the team just wasn't executing the way we need. But the last 2 games we are starting to see it.
u said it. I agree. 1000% right. What would Dak's numbers look like if he didn't have what is it now 5 dropped TDs on his ledger? It’s coming along. After that first series where he was sacked so many times he began to move the pocket. And the O-Line stepped up. Was impressive to see.Dak was hitting wrs in stride and in tight windows. If he can do THAT we are dangerous. What I saw was west coast offense 101. He’s been doing that. The TE’s and some of the WR’s have been dropping those passes.this is key. everything isn't always going to be easy & open. QB has to be able to beat the defense even when the defense is in good position. yesterday he did that.
The haters don’t have the balls to admit when they’re wrong. Neutered at birth it seems for them. What would Dak's numbers look like if he didn't have what is it now 5 dropped TDs on his ledger? I don’t mean it as an insult. I think the scores got out of control early on and we have changed are blocking schemes. It was smart to be conservative. It just made Dak look bad.I think this might a bit unfair. This play has been called a few times this year and the young TEs have dropped the damn thing. There was also that one against the Chargers where Dak didn't see Fergie break open down the middle on it. You have to believe they talked about that play in film study the last two weeks and Dak said if we call it again get ready um throwin it to you!
I'm giving him credit for yesterday. He’s been doing that. The TE’s and some of the WR’s have been dropping those passes.
Only to those who were looking for the bad to begin with. People who actually like the players on our favorite team or who are just able to view their performance somewhat objectively could see that Dak has been doing what has been asked of him in the offense to this point and his teammates have let him down a little too often. I think what happened the last two games was Dak, MM and Schottie came to a meeting of the minds about how to best utilize Dak's talents and that of his teammates. That meant stopping with the fear of throwing over the middle first and foremost. Or maybe it was Dak getting out of the pocket and using his legs to buy time and threaten the defense that was the biggest change. Whatever it was, the offense looks a LOT better now even as the running game continues to be pretty much non-existent. Which is kinda funny given the number of times we've been told that Dak can't win without a dominant rushing attack.I don’t mean it as an insult. I had hoped we could avoid this kind of nonsense on this one.The haters don’t have the balls to admit when they’re wrong. Neutered at birth it seems for them.
Dak had one bad game and it was the game of the year so far in the NFL. It was the Dak haters/media dream game. From what I see the game got out of control and the game plan got conservative. I think Dak said after the game, F$&&k it!!! I am going to play my game.Only to those who were looking for the bad to begin with. Truth hurts huh. Good.I had hoped we could avoid this kind of nonsense on this one.
I suppose neither side can help themselves.
Some should know better....you know....the ones who preach about positivity and such.
No, but I think it was a throw to Cooks. He caught it in stride, right about forehead level, even though he was well covered. A perfect pass, under pressure, I must say.The touchdown to Cooks?
I assure you...not hurting me buddy.Truth hurts huh. Good.
I agree, and I'm not claiming he's figured it out, but that's two excellent games in a row.Dak played great yesterday but his issue has been consistency. 1 great game, 1 good game and a clunker against good teams. He needs to put together a few really good games including next week
A real RB would help
I challenge you to for one whole day just be positive, no negativity no this player sucks the team sucks the coaches suck just 1 day of positive posts.LOOK AT HOW BAD THIS TEAM IS, WE'RE HAPPY OVER SOMETHING THAT SHOULD be normally happening in an NFL offense
I bet you ate the chili through your earsHow hard is it to throw a pass to a TE, it's basic football!!!!!! It should be normal to see a TE getting the ball down the field, you must didn't watch the witten days, or novacek days. Ease up on me though, it's Monday, and I had Chili for dinner last night!!
It was a medical decision, meaning the Drs and training staff nixed him yesterday. It wasn't his choiceI agree. MM is holding things back. You can see it starting to come together. Tyron needs to suck it up for 10 weeks of the regular season. Just give us 7 games.
